1. Summary: The topic of study deals with the various aspects of personality, change management and leadership. The study emphasizes on the need of the three aspects and how they pave way for the success of an organization in terms of increased profitability and esteemed reputation. The study has focuses mainly on the role of the managers in the organization, how the managers are affected by the changes in the organization, the perception of the managers and how they react to the increased needs of the organization. The study about the topic in this context specifies the key critical incidents about the management roles and the reflections exhibited by them. The various management roles and leadership are given prior importance and the practical implications in the organizations are also specified in the context. 2. Main Body: The main body consists of personality, change and leadership in the organization. The different management roles help in boosting the performance of the organization. The personality is the manner in which an individual behaves in a particular situation; the personality is depends up on hereditary, environment and situations. The personality has different dimensions and the theories which support them. The organizational change is the set of structured facts, procedures and tools that are to be implemented in the organization to have the change from the current situation to the future situation with different kinds of emerging trends and facilities. Organizational change is the vital aspect in business, it may consists of different kinds of factors like the business organization, government organization, financial institutions etc. Organisational change has lot of complications for implementation. The organizational change consists of different factors which are to be considered. The factors affecting the organizational change are 1. levels, goals and strategies 2. Measurement system 3. Sequence of steps 4. Implementation and organizational change The level, goals and strategies depend on the organization as a whole. The level consists of different levels of organizational structure. They are the shaping of the organizing, defining the business, re-engineering process, and incrementally improving the process and implementation. The leadership depends on occupying the prominent role in the organization and in the business in comparison to others. The case of Pizza Hut in the business is worth remembering. They emphasis on change management. The Pizza Hut had to face lot of negative traits from the franchisees and from the customers in terms of delay in delivery and in quality aspects, which contributed for the dilution in the brand name of the company. To erase the company’s negative image the company had an idea to be an international brand, by making the quality as a consistent one. The company has to build up the strategy for operational excellence, the firm tried to make an astounding performance by making global presence in the operations.” Many in the world, especially U.K. might be shocked of hearing that Pizza Hut is officially changing their name to Pasta Hut, and very few are left unsurprised with this” (Pasta hut from pizza hut internet news-no hoax, 2008). 3. Reflecting your own behavior is a very good self exercise of understanding how we can incorporate the theories that we have learnt into real practice.  My reflections upon myself as a leader proved that in Pizza Hut I was around 80 % successful in managing my subordinates. The chain which I was handling required from me to exercise all my managerial skills and I was focused on how I can increase the quality of service that is delivered to the customers. I understood that leadership is not about preaching the theory or commanding, but it involved showing the subordinates the accurate way by practicing the same. I understood that I needed to develop my leadership qualities and need to implement the leadership qualities of team management, operational management and should follow the theories and practices of strategic leadership. I understood that my role of leadership should be competent. “Competence is within your grasp, but reach out for skill, and never rest content until you have achieved excellence in leadership” (Adair 2007, p.24). After judging myself I understood that I was efficient in employee management and the teams that I created were showing performance-oriented results which were satisfactory. Thus my team management policy worked. But I also need to implement the role of change in the organization. An organizational change would be a lot beneficial because sticking to the age old norms is not always satisfactory. The Pizza Hut’s traditional management system needs to change because a change leadership can bring a transformation in the organization. “Root cause of initiative failure in a traditionally managed organization stems from the fundamental lack of change leadership” (Casey 2008, pp.25-26). In addition to my qualities as a leader, I need to acquire a few more leadership skills with respect to my personality development. Reflecting on my personality I need to generate positive energy in the Pizza Hut, because personality affects decision making in an organization. Stress management is essential for the personality development of a leader. It reflected on my personality that I could work under pressure because when there were a number of consumer complaints regarding the quality of service and delay in delivery, our team could easily identify which were the areas where improvement was essential. Cross cultural communications are essential in business because it takes the business to global standards. This was a barrier in my leadership trait and so I needed to collect more information on how to improve cross cultural communication in Pizza Hut because in Pizza Hut people come from all over the world. My reflections were very beneficial throughout the whole semester. It helped me in identifying my positive and negative points in the role of leadership. 4. Link to the Management/Leadership Role: Specific examples from my practice to illustrate my understanding in Pizza Hut are that, Pizza Hut follows a wide variety of management activities to increase the leadership skills of the staff. Training and developmental activities of Pizza Hut help to improve the work related growth and organizational changes. I also understood that, through proper leadership in the workplace, it will help to change the personality as well as to bring about the changes in the organizational culture. I also understood that, organizational change provides various opportunities for expansion and growth of organization. These organizational changes may either be due to inside or outside pressure. Pizza Hut is the world’s largest eating place company comprising 6200 outlets and around 4000 in other places across the globe. The top management has to focus first on creating awareness among the staff about customers’ preferences and expectations. Developing proper inter personal communication should form part of the training. As yet another timely strategy, Pizza Hut introduced online ordering systems which became very convenient for customers who did not have the time or inclination to physically move to an outlet. In any organization, training is defined as a “learning process that involves the acquisition of knowledge, sharpening of skills, concepts, rules, or changing of attitudes and behaviors’ to enhance the performance of employees” (Introduction of training: Training defined, 2007) One of the greatest understandings in Pizza Hut is that, training is a learning process so at the time of getting knowledge from the concerned authority, the staff must be in a position to understand the same. Proper communication must be there to acquire knowledge as well as to impart knowledge. Therefore, if the entrepreneurs want to become successful they must be in a position to maintain good communication among their staff members. I examined that, Pizza Hut possesses strong leadership qualities and provides proper guidance to staff with respect to customer satisfaction. I saw in Pizza Hut that the personnel are advised by the leaders as to how to maintain team spirit and work collectively for the benefit of the organization. Entrepreneur controls the whole environment and this is the secret of the success of the organization. To become a leader and to lead a team he needs to implement the concept of training in his industry. Entrepreneurs in Pizza Hut understand the relevance of man-power performance in their firm. Specific examples from my practice to illustrate my understanding are that personality in an organization helps to understand the general characters of the workers in the Pizza Hut. I understood the importance of path goal theory of leadership, this theory makes sure that the manager directs staff to select the most excellent path to attain the ultimate aim. 5. Practical Implications: Identification of learning goals for our second year at university assists us in our potential planning as well as the strategies that I have to carry out to accomplish them. The learning goal can be assessed by various ways. “The identification and refinement of student learning outcomes is a part of a cyclical process to improve both teaching and learning. The instructional cycle is a process that most effectively occurs at the departmental level in the hands of the faculty who understand the practices, conventions, and methods that their disciplines convey to majors.” (Students learning goals and outcomes, 2010). ” (Students learning goals and outcomes, 2010). I think an accurate leader is an individual who preserves a rigid loyalty to an internalized, except or else normally established system of ethical principles and also the leader holds complete honesty, integrity, and openness in all communication and must be kept away from dishonesty, expediency, deceit, or nonsense of any type in all circumstances. The leadership traits that are obligatory to create a high-quality leader be able to differ in diverse businesses, panels and circumstances. During the 21st century, organization leadership has turn into the best career. Culture of the organization is different according to the values and beliefs that they possess. Conclusion: Pizza Hut follows a wide variety of leadership activities to properly assist its workers. Role of personality follows predominant place in the organization to understand the character of the workers in the organization.
