General Manager

Job Description

The post of General Manager is very powerful in this organization. The General Manager is the overall supervisor closely following the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). It is a five-year contract that can be renewed upon its maturity. It is a high-profile job with attractive packages. A successful candidate would earn between $20,000-30,000 monthly

Responsibilities and Duties

The General Manager would be responsible for the following roles:

  1. Discharging the supervisory roles on all the junior staff under him/her
  2. Sit in the Board of Director’s meeting to deliberate over important matters affecting the organization
  • Overseeing the day to day operations of the company and ensuring that everything is done as planned
  1. Perform any other duty delegated by the CEO. As an officer, the General Manager would be directly answerable to the CEO from whom he/she would obtain directives

Qualifications

For one to qualify for this position, one should possess the following academic and professional qualifications:

  1. Master’s Degree in Business Management. Ph.D. qualifications would be an added advantage.
  2. Minimum experience of 10 years in a similar position in a busy organization

Human Resource Manager

Job Description

The position of the Human Resource Manager (HRM) would be occupied by a highly qualified professional. The successful applicant would enjoy a high remuneration package range of $5,000-15,000 monthly.

Duties and Responsibilities

The HRM would be responsible for recruiting, remunerating, rewarding, and promoting employees within the organization (Hoyle, 2011). They would also safeguard the employees’ welfare by ensuring that they enjoy a good working condition, incentives, and benefits.

Qualifications

For one to qualify as an HRM in this organization, one must possess the following minimum qualifications:

  1. Master’s degree in HRM. The job would be strictly professional and reserved for a highly qualified candidate
  2. 7 years experience as an HRM in a busy organization. An experienced manager has a wealth of knowledge on matters relating to the management of the organization’s human and other resources.
  • Good communication skills. Must demonstrate a proper mastery of critical listening and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  1. Leadership and management skills. Should be in a position of coming up with new ideas and coordinating all the activities of the organization. Through this, he/she would become an invaluable asset for the company.
  2. Team player and ready to closely work with their colleagues, seniors, and juniors without any prejudice.
  3. IT literacy, a skill necessary for automated handling of the organization’s activities.

Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

The position of warehouse supervisor would be filled by the most suitable candidate. The successful candidate would be granted a five-year contract which would be renewable upon expiry. The monthly package would be between $ 5,000 and $7,000.

Duties and Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the warehouse supervisor to be in charge of the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Apart from coordinating all its activities, the supervisor would keep the record of the stock in and out.

Qualifications

The successful candidate should be in a possession of the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration (Supplies and Purchase option). Those with a diploma in storekeeping would have an added advantage
  2. Minimum of 5 years experience in storekeeping
  • Excellent IT, software, and record-keeping skills

  • Management and leadership skills

Administration Assistant

Job Description

The position of an Administration Assistant would be filled by the most competent and highly qualified professional. It is a 3-year contract which can be renewed upon expiry. The monthly salary would range from $2,000 up to $6,000.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Administration Assistant would be in charge of administration. He/she would be responsible for discharging administrative duties on day to day basis. The other role would be taking and keeping records on different issues within the organization. As a junior staff, the Administration Assistant would be expected to perform any other duties delegated to them by their seniors (Gomez-Mejia et al., 2008).

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:

  1. At least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or any other related discipline
  2. A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar position.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills. Excellent mastery of written and spoken English Language and critical listening skills.
