The person that the narrator is talking in the Sonnet 73 to is clearly his lover, as the narrator makes the promise to that person that they will love the narrator even more as his lover begins to grasp the concept of losing him to death. Despite the subject of the poem, the mood is peaceful and passionate, almost bordering on happy.

I floated through the words of this poem on a beautiful imagined evening until I reached the last sentence, “I have wasted my life.” This line puzzled me.
The stories are fascinating because they set their readers into a world of wonderful dreams showcasing many possibilities for the impossible. “Two Kinds” by Amy Tan seemed fascinating for a wonderful story that envisages the ‘American dream’ in its truest essence, where a girl captivated with the Chinese immigration stature of her mother.
James Wright’s poems are spectacularly poetic with their hearty touch towards sadness and hope. This ironic blend of two sides of the human mind is caricatured in his lines very sweetly. The choice of his topic is truly wide but he makes clear ways to reach the message out to the reader with intermingled conjunction of metaphor and irony.
From this paper it is clear that by presenting this story in this unique non-sequential narrative style, Roy chooses themes and events are most important to reveal at that particular moment in the story even if the order is confusing to follow at first.
