NaturePlato explains the nature of the human being as guided by the power of love. All the men in the Symposium discusses love in their speeches. There speeches are full of praise of love. Agathon says of the nature of love as the most beautiful, the most virtuous and the best of all the gods in Athens. Therefore, according to Plato, the nature of love surpasses all beauty and all goodness and bring excellences among the people (Cavalier and Mellon). Dionysian/ApolloniDionysian and Apolloni are a dichotomy used in the early time to distinguish the virtuous and the errands.

Apollni is the god of reason and present the individual sober thought of nature while Dionysian is the god of mysticism, last and emotions. It is the opposite of Apolloni. People define themselves by these two measures in how they behave in the world (Taylor). Slaughter HouseThe movie discusses the last moment of Elvira, a transsexual woman who is attacked in the park for trying to buy sex. She is so in trouble because her lover has been away and when he come back he abuses her and tells her he is leaving.

Elvira is so stressed she decide to visit her family in the Slaughter House and also the orphanage with her friend (Fassbinder). Having to learn to love menIt is hard for women character in the Movie to learn how to love men. Each time they try their best they run into trouble and even get harm instead of being loved. The Painted ManThe author paints out the character as controlled by their sexual desires to same gender and also to the opposite gender. Moreover, the imagination of attraction to young girls and the boy is a depiction of a dying society (Mann).

The Uncanny in Death in VeniceAschenbash’s family is full of intrigue. He had been married to a young girl from a university family, but the wife would later die after a short reunion. Aschenbash would later stick to a married daughter with her son. Their union makes Aschenbash develop a love for the woman son though not sexually he says that he enjoys staying with Tadzio (Mann). Constructed Nature of SexualityThe human sexual nature is always hidden, and people act it in secret. Foucault argued that confession and science can create a modern concept in people sex life.

(Foucault 75) Confession and SexualityFoucault argues that the Western societies confess to establish the truth. He says ‘the confession became one of the West’s most highly valued techniques for producing truth’ (Foucault). Therefore, for people to obtain a ‘clean slate’ in their life they have to confess their sexual transgressions and other ills. The confession of a person’s sexuality has an effect of enabling him or herself coexist with others in the society. One example of this form of confession is practiced by the Catholic Church for a person to get absolution.
