INTRODUCTION:
The Anglo Empire is the most extensive in world history and for a time was the primary global power. It was a product of the European age of discovery, which began with the explorations of the global maritime of Portugal and Spain in the late fifteenth century.

By 1921, the British Empire ruled a population of between 470 and 570 million people, approximately one-quarter of the world's population. It covered about 14.3 million square miles (more than 37 million square kilometers), about a quarter of Earth's total land area. Though it has now mostly evolved into the Commonwealth of Nations, British authority remains strong throughout the world: in economic practice, sports (such as cricket and football), legal and governmental systems, and the English language itself.

In 1776, a revolution created a new nation from the British colonies of the Atlantic seaboard. The first colonial revolution for independence followed the emergence of those colonies as the most closely settled region of North America. Throughout the first half of the nineteen century, Ireland received a huge amount of tourists and travelers in history. The Act of Union of 1800 brought England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland into the union.

Once a time comes when the Anglo empire was referred to as "the empire on which the sun never sets" because the empire's length across the globe ensured that the sun was always shining on at least one of its numerous colonies.
