The readers of the Slant Magazine According to the Slant Magazine Twilight, is an American romantic movie based on the novel of Stephanie Meyers. The readers for the novel or movie are teenagers or who like romantic story. The story about the relationship between a girl named Bella and a boy named Edward. It is a great love story. This review will aim at analyzing some of the Simon Abrahams thoughts in my view. Twilight is a very interesting and exciting movie to watch. It is not just a vampire and human falling in love with each other, but a gorgeous and romantic story on the screen. The actors in the movie wore nice dresses and had excellent makeups on. For the audience, there is an adequate and good vision in it. This is one of the movies that one cannot get bored watching, and this made me concentrate throughout the action. Several wonderful elements such as quality lighting also contribute to making the movie look terrific. Such elements made me feel the story deeply as I was watching. They also made the story look so real and reveal more truth in it. The story unfolds as Bella moves from Phoenix in Arizona to Forks in Washington to join her father, Charlie, who was a baseball player. Bella attended Forks High School where she met several of her friends including Eric, Mike, Angela and Jessica. When she came across Edwards family, Bella thought that Edward had a light brown eyes more than his family. After looking at Edward carefully, Bella asked herself why Edward was looking that different. During the biology class, Bella sat next to Edward bit Edward did not like the idea and walked away. Bella was again left wondering why such a thing had to happen. One day Bella came across Edward as she was parking her car at the school. Her friend lost control and almost hit Bella. However, Edward pushed the car very strongly and faster to protect Bella. It was a shocking and surprising scenario as Bella could not understand how fast Edward made it to her rescue despite the fact that he was standing far away from her. Later Bella went back to her house and still asked herself how Edward acquired such power. Bella then was asking Edward to tell him at least the truth about the source of his power. After some time, Bella went shopping with her friends Jessica and Angela. They first went to purchases some dresses, after which they proceeded to a bookstore. On coming out of the bookstore, Bella came across some boys who wanted to assault her. Unexpectedly, Edward came to her rescue once again and protected her from the intended assault. She then accompanied Edward to his car. Bella begun feeling cold, and Edward turned the heater on to provide them with some heat. When he wanted to turn off the heater, Bella felt his hand and they both felt very cold despite the warm air in the car. Bella soon alighted and went to her house where it came to her mind that Edward could be a Vampire. Then next day, Bella took Edward to the jungle where she told him about what he thought about him. She then felt in love with him because of the way he has been taking care of her. Bella then wanted to become a vampire so that she can marry Edward. One day, as Bella and Edward went to play baseball together, James tried to attack her because she was a virgin. As she went back to her mother in Phoenix accompanied by Alice and Jasper, James told Bella that he had captured her mother and was intending to kill her. When he realized that, Edward stepped forward and pushed James and removed the venom from Bella. When she woke up, Bella discovered she was in the hospital. In a nutshell, that summarized the story as I watched it in the screen. However, there were some differences between what was in the movie and that in the novel. Some of the differences include; 1/prom scene; in the book, Bella is tricked into attending the prom with Edward, Alice lures Bella to the Cullen house. 2/blood –typing lab; one of the funnier scenes in the book takes place in biology. Edward (not surprisingly) skips out of class the day they are to do blood-typing. Bella, who it turns out, can smell blood in a way uncommon for humans (and perhaps an important piece of foreshadowing) passes out. Knowing Bellas aversion to blood makes an interesting counterpoint to her love for a vampire. 3/Bella sleep talking; Edward can read humans minds -- with the solitary exception of Bellas. When he discovers that she talks in her sleep, he starts hanging out in her bedroom at night long before she is aware of his presence. Without knowing his motivation for watching her sleep, Edward comes off as a stalker. Very creepy, in a way probably not intended. All in all, the twilight is a great movie, and I love it because of all the reasons I had mentioned earlier. I would like to congratulate the director for a good work done.
