Full Life Starts Now: A Response Essay Hi ________, The beginning of your story is quite intriguing and I like it that you started that way because it somehow made me anticipate how the story ends. The words you used are simple and they make me understand easily what you are trying to share. In addition, you told the story in a chronological order which was also easy to follow, making me able to picture what was happening to the characters. How you ended the story is also wonderfully done. I like it that you left the end to the readers because it complements the way you started your story.

However, I cannot quite see how the characters look like and how they move. Perhaps, it would have been better if there were more descriptions to make the picture of the characters more vivid. For instance, in the first paragraph, I was able to picture the two characters as lovers who were about to have the happiest moment in their lives. I can see Andy feeling nervous as Sage looks at her and I also imagine them to be in a public place but I could almost ignore the action going on around them because you made me focus on the main characters.

Nevertheless, in the following paragraphs, I cannot see such imageries anymore. For example, you talked about how the long distance was difficult for the two characters but I cannot see how it was difficult for them. Well, at least I can imagine the difficulties based from my experience but I cannot “see” the struggles of Andy and Sage because as I said, there were limited descriptions. Other than that, you have done a great job!
