Full Everybody’s a Critic: A Response Hi Shawn, Your story is very interesting. It is full of action which made me quitelost at the start but as quick as the actions are, you have also made me see the big picture as soon as you got all the main characters presented. Your words are simple and easy to understand which I think is important in every story. You really have a writer’s charisma; able to attract readers and bring them into the scenes you are unveiling. You have successfully painted the pictures in my mind so that I am able to see and follow the characters as they move along.

I can imagine how the characters looked, what they were doing and how they were feeling as I read from scene to scene. The plot was so perfect, so modern yet so spooky; it brought chills to my bones. You have efficiently mixed realism and fiction in a manner that is so compelling, you made me feel like I was really reading a true story. I like how you accelerated from a lazy, slow-paced scene to an action-packed climax that really nails your audience’s attention. You were quite frugal with your words but they have been carefully picked and arranged so that I, as a reader, was still able to see the completeness of the story.

What can I say? You portrayed your story perfectly; I could not see it written in any other way. I cannot wait to read more of your short stories or even your first novel.
