I am from China and I want to study more about economics due to my passion for this field and my dedication towards my country. I am a person who loves traveling and intends to travel around the world to explore more of it. I am from China and am proud of the fact that my country is prospering day by day. For this same reason, I want to contribute to my country by doing something credible for its economy. I want to study the economy and engage in a profession that would be crucial to the economic development of the country. I think my world does not limit to my country and want to see all sides of the globe. I am ambitious and want to make the best use of my skill and talents by educating myself more.

I am willing to discover every corner of the world and I have learned painting for around 15 years. I could identify that painting is my pleasure activity and I create realistic works. I get inspiration from my surroundings and create abstracts of the beautiful scenery in my painting. I am a sophomore and my major is accounting. The reason why I chose this discipline is because I want to serve my country in a professional manner. I know that accounting is a profession that is valuable to economic development and China developing rapidly and needs students like me to secure its economy. I know my major studies can help me learn many new things to contribute to the Chinese economy.

MSU is a fantastic college and I would learn something unique about accounting principles and other economic-related issues during my study period. I want to be a better person and after my majors I believe can be more skilled in the accounting discipline. Since accountancy is all about finance and its management, I believe I  have a huge role to play in my country’s business arena.  I think during my studies I am in the process of learning new aspects of the business world which is making me excited and ambitious. I would also like to know more about the economies of different countries and how it varies from China.

I also think my study period has helped me to improve my language proficiency and communication skill. I believe that to be able to contribute to my economy, I need to have a good command of English and should have communication tactics. Since globalization, English has become a mandatory criterion in the business world, and China having business relations with the Western world has increased this language’s importance. So I believe to be a successful student and a professional in the accounting field I need to have excellent communication skills. I also understand that I can meet new people, understand different cultures and identify new talents which would make me a more productive person. In China, I think there is a need for highly educated people who can understand the current economy and contribute effectively to the nation. I believe after the completion of my study I would be an asset to my home country.
