The Hipsters Life” The new crop of youngsters famously known as hipsters lives a different urban life that deviates from the norms. They are mostly young people in college and high school environments. They adopt independent thinking, creativity, witty banter, exaggerated social life, copied personalities, intelligence, art, and counter-culture. Most notable is the fact that most hipsters depend on their parents for financial support or work in fancy areas like Starbucks. They love fashion and party a lot.

Indeed, hipster streets profess cake shops, fashion stores, vibrant graffiti pieces, and pubs. The hipsters have no respect for fashion and only seek to look cool and creative on wearing costly vintage clothes, tattoos, and hairstyles. In fact, you will see hipsters on vintage floral, checkers, skinny jeans, high-wasted pants, deep-cut V-neck T-shirts, big dangling earrings, and non-prescription eyeglasses as they walk freely down the streets. Indeed, they will do useless glasses that range from oversized plastic framed glasses, shutter shades, Buddy Holly glasses of all colours.

In addition, they will regularly put on clothing that does not match together, cowboy boots, and flat canvas shoes. Hipsters will seek to make the old fashion new and frequently take pictures with instagram to impress people with their carefree lifestyle as they manifest ultimate negative peer pressure. They equally love walking in a group carrying jute bags with funny pictures and words on them. They have mad love for facial hair and you can therefore see them on saver moustache, large beards, and large flower headbands.

The women who live the hipster life put on bird necklaces, pins in any part of their bodies, bright belts, patterned and colourful leggings, and apply neon nail polish. Furthermore, hipsters are party animals who spend their nights in nightclubs dancing to nasty music, drinking, and smoking American spirits like Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. More so, they have their favourite music bands and artists- role models whom they follow in clubs and in the social media. Indeed, the hipsters are the most rampant social site users where they blog on their social identity and daily exploits.

These are the people you will see on the streets in trucker caps and cotton spandex leggings while riding BMX bikes and fixed-gear bikes in freestyle. In fact, the hipsters adopt a unique mode of communication that is mostly in the short form and not necessarily grammatically correct. With this language, they brag about their way of life and you frequently hear them saying, "imma hipster imma hipster." As such, the hipster life is just more than putting on a different fashion. It is a highly ritualized way of life that respects no norms.

Hence, it is equally difficult to interact with a hipster if you are not one of them. Consequently, hipsters find it hard to have long time relationships with the opposite sex and only hipsters can date them. As a result, most hipsters lead a lonely life with no families. I can never be a hipster.
