Generally, the course material covered in both FBI and quasi-military training model takes approximately equivalent duration. Whereas the FBI is estimated to take 800 hours, para-militarism takes almost the same number of hours or slightly higher depending on the institution of training. The duration of training is scheduled in such a way that the objectives of recruit training are attained throughout the training period so as to produce professional that are effective in the law enforcement practice (Kevin, 2013). • CONCLUSION

In conclusion, although the study indicates that there are matches in the methodologies such as material content, practical tests and course duration used in the training of both FBI and para-militarism officers , there is a unique difference in how the similar features are undertaken. Based on the discussion the differences are based on the roles that the recruits will undertake in the law enforcement practice that is the FBI roles are different from those of the police department and therefore the skills and practices during training is different. In addition to the difference, there exist training centers facilities, trainee entry requirement and facility deployed. Further, the trainees’ variance in areas of specialty upon their graduation reduces the cases of commonality. The ultimate goal of the two methodologies is developing professional in the criminal justice system that align their practice to the constitution through the understanding of the criminal law of the United States and the rights and liberties of the United States citizens. The FBI and the police department uphold professionalism and efficiency of their offices through training and practice as highlighted in the discussion.
