Law Intelligence Collection The main objective of COMINT material collection falls under the effort of the Master BAA in order to create new processing capabilities, as well as new technologies in signals exploitation. The primary concern of the effort is to support the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) mission, defend and protect the blue coalition forces, oversee the computer and intelligence applications, and also support the war fighter awareness of the battle space awareness.

When using IMINT method of material collection, there is an assessment and analysis that is done on literal and non-literal specific biases. When done in literal collection, translators have to be relied on and for non-literal; the material collection has to rely on the processor or the exploiter’s judgment which is considered to be accurate.
