The majority of people do not understand why they need to learn employment law. They think that they can apply for a lawyer if they need to know anything. However, we live in a society, which has its laws created by people for their benefit. And the lack of knowledge can bring much harm and create a difficult situation. Thus, every person should know his rights and obligations and how to defend them. Employment law is the set of rules, which regulate the relations between employees and employers. Every person should learn these rules by heart. Employers should know what they can demand from their workers and what they can’t demand from them. The workers should know that their rights are defended and regulated by employment law, thus they can’t be fired without any reason or immediately. And if they hear the phrase “you are fired”, they have a right to get an explanation and should be given some time to find a new job as well as financial compensation. Read More
