Terrorism in Canada About 46 terrorist entities have been recognized and listed based on the subsections: 83.05(9) and 83.05(10) of the Criminal in Canada. Out of these groups LTTE is prominent because the largest proportion of the world population which has links to the activities of LTTE resides in Canada. It was founded in mid 1980s in Sri Lanka, based on the following ideology; gaining unjustifiable political powers to the Tamil population which is not large enough to represent the majority of the voters (Potters, 2013).

The complete list of terrorist entities in Canada is as below; (Canada, 2012). Bombing of Air India Flight 182 is recognized as the worst-ever terrorist attack against the Canadian people in the history. Approximately 330 people, mainly Canadians, died in this tragic event which occurred on June 23, 1985.
