Interview Essay al Affiliation Interview Essay The non-profit organization are of a great importance in the contemporary society, since they make a contribution to the development ans sustainability of people who run off the financial support or are not able enough to provide themselves with the necessary conditions of life due to a great many reasons. The USA is one of the countries which is saturated with the non-profit organizations, whose aim is to support the categories of people who are the most vulnerable and encounter the numerous obstacles for the successful and comfortable living (Bittschi et al., 2014). The organization the Florida Council on Aging established a wide range of the programs and organizations which are called to provide the elderly population with the necessary help. Júnior et al. (2014) have a conviction that the benefits which do not bear financial character are important for the society as well as the economically proved associations. In other words, the non-profit organizations (those which work with peoples issues and those which exercise their activity in concern of other aspects of life on the planet) are called to support the ethical values of the contemporary society. One of the project the Florida Council on Aging has recently run concerns the elderly population strata of the society and is referred to as the Broward Meals on Wheels. It has been decided to meet a social work supervisor of the agency, Winnie Francois, and have a talk in order to obtain the answers for several questions which are of an importance for the investigation of the social non-profit organizations. The questions which Winnie Francois responded with pleasure concerned mainly the principles of work of organization, it values and leaders. In addition to this, the questions on ethical values, the pushing tools which help lead the organization, challenges and the ways to overcome them were kindly answered. A particular interest, however, was connected with the missions and goals Broward Meals on Wheels introduced in order to make their contribution to the support of the aging population. The first question I have asked Winnie Francois consisted in the ethical values which are of a great importance for the leaders of the non-profit organizations. Winnie said that there were various approaches to develop ethics within Meals on Wheels. The ethical values are incredibly important, he gave an emphasis, due to the reason that the key aim of any non-profit organization is not to accumulate the financial assets and income, but help those who are in need. The ethical values which have been put into the basis of the Broward Meals on Wheels are connected with the intention to help without having any benefits of financial character. Thus, Winnie claimed, the main ethical value of out work consists in the understanding that we work to help and assist. The desire to make contribution is the key pushing mechanism for the motivation. The leaders of the non-profit agency, Broward Meals on Wheels, Winnie said were full on enthusiasm and exercised the active approach to the design of ideas and ways how to have the good intentions to be turned to life. Broward Meals on Wheels serves as a an important mechanism and the brightest example of how the non-profit organization has to work. Another ethical values, as Winnie Francois has a conviction, consists in the desire to unite the major stakeholders and charity organizations in order to follow the common aim which comprises of the numerous approaches and means to help and make it on the constant basis. This value requires, certainly, much attempt to be done, since the search of the agents willing to help is a very complicated and long-termed task. The next question I asked Winnie Francois was about the reinforcing measures and examples which push the organization to keep on their activity. Winnie liked the question and said that the most important role had always been played by the motivation and the desire to help. In addition, he claimed that another important factor was that the first results which had been successful, pushed the members of the Broward Meals on Wheels to keep on working and creating the new ways to exercises their activity. Having worked for the Broward Meals on Wheels for a quite long time as a social work supervisor, Winnie has had a conviction that the merest attempts to help and the most minor positive results and feedback serve as the best tool motivating the employees of Broward Meals on Wheels work more hard and perform the best results. Winnie, then, added that the people who had established and had worked for Broward Meals on Wheels are marvelous since they are the same as the agency itself – non-profit. This helps improve the working process and lead the organization to the further development. Speaking about the challenges of thornies which have been met, Winnie said that as every organization, there had been a number of obstacles and challenges. One of them consisted in the lack of trust. This problem, however, was not difficult to address and fix. Another challenge consisted, as Winnie fairly mentioned, in the way the organization has to be registered. The constant check of the type of organization (whether it is indeed non-profit) disturb the work. One more challenge which beheld the activity of Broward Meals on Wheels is the search of the charity organizations and major stakeholders which would contribute to the development of the organization. As well, the same problem concerned the recruitment of the personnel and employees. There are not that many people who are eager show kindness and aimed at helping people. Then, Winnie Francois concluded that all the challenges which had happened had been overcome and made the organization stringer. Winnie Francois is very proud of the organizations expectations and standards. He mentioned that the highly established standards serve as a challenge which is expected to be accepted and pushes the workers of the Broward Meals on Wheels to perform the best quality work. The standards of the organizations functioning concern the way the aging people are treated, the rules of the organizations activity, etc. People who work for the Broward Meals on Wheels are passionate about the work they perform and are eager to develop in any direction in order to provide the elderly people with the best services. In reality, as a social work supervisor, Winnie Francois is particularly proud of the mission the agency of the Broward Meals on Wheels performs. He says that any intention to provide people with help is focused on the ethical values and their development. The ethics is of an importance within the organization and leads to the fruitful results of the activities the employees are engaged into. The mission of the company is a many years tradition which comprises of the ethical values which have been incorporated in to the working principles of the Broward Meals on Wheels. Furthermore, the organizations which have the similar area of expertise contact them and propose an opportunity to share the examples and the resources to enrich the organizations work. At the end of the interview, Winnie Francois said that not only money rule the world, and the kind actions have to be present at any stage of the society development. Furthermore, he emphasized that the main tool which had a tendency to contribute to the development of the society is the ethical norms and values which have been constantly developed. There is no other mechanism the society can be made function in a proper direction, except the ethical development of people and their actions which have followed the most prominent ethical values.
