Analysis of the Current Physical System
Speedy Feet is a club that organizes athletics competitions at different location. The business currently uses a manual system for organising athletics competitions. This system is a completely paper based system that works with the postal service. This system is causing various issues for the business due to manual working. Below are some of the major issues in manual physical system:
Takes more time for arranging events
Takes more time for managing process
More data duplication
Higher human effort required
Needs extra time for event management
Requires additional resources
More chances of errors while entering data
More issues regarding events processing

Use Case Descriptions
Registering Athletes
Introduction: This use case describes the registration process for contestants who are going to participate in the event. Here system will take users’ information and personal details.
Primary Actors: Athlete
Secondary Actors: Registration Advisor
Success Scenario: If the user provides the correct information and system saves the information and provides successful registration response.
Failure Scenario: Due to some typing error or some entry mistake system is not able to take the user details in a proper way that causes working issues.
Developing season’s calendar
Introduction: This use case offers a detailed overview of some of the main tasks and processes for completing sports event calendar.
Primary Actors: Competitions Advisor, Athlete, Venue Manager
Secondary Actors: Timekeepers
Success Scenario: System is able to store the information and develops the calendar without clashes
Failure Scenario: possible clashes in the calendar will cause failure of events and development of calendar
Finalizing Venues
Introduction: This use case defines the finalized venues for conducting event.
Primary Actors: Venues Advisor
Secondary Actors: Competitions Advisor
Success Scenario: if the venue is available and we are allowed to conduct the event then we can declare the success of overall event
Failure Scenario: In case of un-availability of venue the overall process of event organization will fail.
Competition Schedule
Introduction: This use case defines the establishment of event for the sports and involves the time table and working schedule for the event.
Primary Actors: Competitions Advisor, Venues Advisor
Secondary Actors: Venues manager
Success Scenario: In case of availability of venue and other resources the event will be scheduled for future games and events.
Failure Scenario: In case of un-availability of the venue or some other resources the event can be scheduled in a better way.
Competition Management
Introduction: This aspect of system is about managing and handling the overall event, staff and athletes. Here timekeeper will take care for main tasks and activities of overall events.
Primary Actors: Timekeepers
Secondary Actors: Competitions Advisor, Venues Advisor
Success Scenario: In case of availability of overall information and details of events and participants the timekeeper will be able to better manage the events.
Failure Scenario: Some issues due to event management can lead to failure and cause problems in effective management of events.
3- User Specification representing one of the actors from the Use Case Diagram. The User Specification to comprise: persona, 3 usability goals, 2 user experience goals.
User Specification
Actors: Registration Advisor
Persona
Registration advisor gets the requests of registrations and processes the athlete’s information. In scenario of new system registration advisor will take on requests of athletes and verifies the payments and personal details.
3 Usability goals
Below are some of the usability goals of this actor:
System needs to offer possible hints for confirming athlete information
System needs to offer editing capability to Registration advisor
System needs to offer rejection facility to Registration advisor
2 User experience goals
Here are main experience goals of this actor:
Registration advisor needs to posses sharp observation capabilities
Registration advisor needs to possess high level analysis capabilities
4- Wireframe representing the design for a data entry web interface for one use case from the Use Case Diagram. The chosen use case should be named. Include a short explanation (less than 500 words) describing how the design meets the usability and user experience goals specified.

Use Case: Registering Athletes
Explanation
While developing above given screen design one of the main aspects that I kept in mind was the simplicity of system design. In this scenario I have tried to develop such a design that is easy to learn and better matched with users’ pervious experiences. The present system design is more aligned to user working. Here the new system design is much simple and interactive that is easily understandable for any type of user. This panel asks for the user input that leads to further processing. In this way the system working turned out to be much easier through the new system working and design that offers an excellent operational and working capability for every type of users.
