The Technology of Blogs and Evening News. Today communication through media has reached a marvellous growth, because of that spontaneityand instant reports arrive every second. People have been exposed to a variety of sources that they could no more say, that, denial of awareness still exist. Communication is the only word, which holds the countries together, the more the development arises, the more the link between people of all the countries increases. How to reach the people and gain popularity?, has become the foremost aim of the communicators. These communicators work with the intention to make people know what is going on in the society, which is the best part of the social activity?, whom should they believe? etc. To meet these needs, people surely depend on media and communication. So the one, which reaches fast, and reliable, becomes the favourite of the people. The technology of Evening News and Blogs could be considered some of the fast reaching modes of communications. While considering the Evening News, it is the presentation or report of the most recent happenings in a spontaneous way. The Evening News section is intended mainly to those who go through the happenings in an urgent manner. The technology is same with that of the other news telecast, but the spontaneity is fast when compared to that of the other news presentations. Blogs, on the other hand is a display of various forms of information on one topic, which would be contributed by as many people as possible. Where as, Evening News section is the complete work of the media people. Cory Doctorow et al [2002] “observes, “A blog is a means of communication, and there are many different types of messages carried by blogs. Some are nothing but pointers to other websites, while others run long essays: some are personal diaries, others feature technology: some are edited by one person, others by teams”. It is a presentation of opinions, humour, serious thoughts etc. and those blog could link another website to support their information. What makes the difference between Blogs and Evening News is that many number of people could contribute blogs at any time, the result would be instantaneous when compared to that of Evening News. In the field of Journalism, bolgs could help the journalists to interact with their audiences. Where as immediate interaction is not possible in the case of Evening News. Bolgs also helps the journalist to collect a verity of source on a specific topic form various websites and blogs linked with that. If Evening News could be considered as communicating with a whole community, blogs could be considered as communicating within selected group of people, who are interested to interact. However, blogs have certain limitation that is not there in the case of Evening News. Some of the distinguishing features of the blogs are Web log ID maintenance and Radio User land, in which one would have the chance to interact with the media on any thing of their interest and this could be done through a blogger available form the site. Recently there has been lot of blogs sites developed all over the world. Will Richardson [2006] observes that “At the beginning of 2006, Technorita.com, one of the many blog tracking services, listed almost 25 million blogs, the first widely adopted easy publishing tool of the Read/Write web, which people used to create personal journals of their lives, build resource sites with colleagues, or filter the news of the day for audiences large and small with no need to know how to code pages or transfer files” His observation shows the fast development of blogs. Developers find this source very easy to contribute their knowledge of recent happenings and share their opinions at a large space. Where as these technological features are not available in Evening News. The needs created by these tow technologies are creating spontaneous awareness and interaction. People sharing their knowledge and opinion helps the society to take part as closely as possible. While Evening News keeps the journalists in touch with the recent up to date matters happening in the society, Blogs on the other hand make the journalist as well as the audience to have an effective interaction and further allows people’s thoughts to appear as an important feature. Social interaction becomes fast in the case of both blogs as well as Evening News, but blogs could improve the interaction within a community formed by the bloggers. However, News might receive a slow interaction in the form of reactions of the public; it has wide range of community to follow what has been said. As far as communication is concerned, it would be better to say that blogs need a educated mass, educated in technological improvements also to make the communication reach fast, Where as Evening news concentrates on all kinds of audiences. Blogs are entries sent in the form of messages or comments by individuals as well as institutions, in which the main part would be contributing entries or messages on variety of recent happenings or products. A person who introduces himself as a blogger can point out to the other linking websites related to the topic he has chosen. Evening News, doest not specifically have people who blog, but the whole process of presentation is carried out by the journalist. Blogs have a strong social and moral value. In the sense, it depends solely on audience and their contribution. Some audience are very much in tact with the blogs, and they tend to promote any type of object of their interest depending upon their mood. Blogs have dual role to play, if an individual’s or majority of people has approved team’s blog, the result comes out in terms of financial growth. Blogs have changed the trends of the older news presentations as well. Blogs have quick impact, but what is lagging is the limitation within which it works. A website for blog entries accepts those blogs only if it gains a majority of acceptance from majority of audience. While Evening News technology might interact with the audience, the reaction comes out will be of a very effective type, because the audience covers a wide range community. The social significance is quiet competent in the case of blogs, as it covers technically educated audience, hence it forms its own community. With the advent of blog technology life has become fast, particularly, the communication aspect of life has reached effective and successful medium. Human communication paves way for development of the society, this development includes technological as well as innovative means of life style and living. The right to express your own opinion has become easily possible through both these communicative media. For example, blogs contribute direct display of the opinion of the audience, Evening News and other journalistic means give chances for people to interact by adding their comments. What makes the difference? is that Blogs are direct entries , where as the other has restricted entry to participate. While comparing both, blogs seems to occupy the prominent and effective means of communication. Though it might have its own community, there are chances for the number of people to increase in the community. It was not in the case of Newspapers, or other news presentations, where people have a very meagre portion to participate.
