Memoir about Facebook The tremendous revolution in technology has given rise to a completely new world where people can now contact each other sitting far away from each other. Internet has changed out life altogether. Social media websites have served the purpose of maintaining social contacts, our pictures, posts and plenty of other stuff. My memoir is about my favorite social media website, Facebook. Ever since I was introduced to Facebook by my cousin in 2007, I was amazed with its usage and applications. I got involved in Facebook more with each passing day. It really was a favorite friend of mine that never allowed me to get bored in my free times. I always use to use my beloved site for at least 2 to 3 hours a day that comprises various activities of my interest. The most amazing thing about Facebook is that I am getting tremendous knowledge about the events going on around me as current affairs. I am not a big fan of politics. However, when I see funny side of politics shared by my friends, I start taking interest in politics naturally. I visit the posts of my friends to get some information about the general events or other technological advances. It has helped me a great deal in enhancing my knowledge and horizon. My association with Facebook was very similar to the attachment of (Gathman) with cell phones. His emotions were totally integrated with his phone that he loved so much. He discovered all the aspects of the phone to find out its versatility. He explained his association with the mobile in terms of calls, texts and other purposes. Same is the case with me and Facebook. I want to explore every bit of it. I keep searching for various entertainment, informative, and technological set ups on this social media. Facebook has some kind of psychological connection with me. Whenever, I get five minutes free from my classes, I use to open my beloved site from my mobile. I am very thankful to the university to provide the Wi-Fi internet service throughout the college that allows me to use the social media wherever I go in the campus. It is very easy to open the ‘Home’ page and start navigating from top to bottom. It’s a great feeling whenever the theme of Facebook appears in front of my eyes. It gives me feelings of satisfaction and removes my boredom. Visiting Facebook regularly has become the part and parcel of my daily activities. It feels like something is missing when I don’t visit my social media for some hours. Some kind of chasm starts appearing in the mind as I get far from my mobile phone for some moments. I am quite addicted to it now. Using Facebook is the only solution when I am tensed and upset. As I read through some entertaining posts, all the worries and sadness is alleviated. The use of Facebook has completely changed me now. It is amazing to see how a social media website changes the personality of the person. All of the sudden, the confidence is seeping through my whole body in my real life interactions. I am quite fond of making friends on Facebook for interaction online. Similarly, my habits have been reflected in my daily life apart from internet. I have become more informative with humble behavior to deal with every person politely. I use the information to educate my friends about current affairs. My efforts have been focused on implementing my online Facebook experience to my real life. The real utilization of Facebook has come to my life recently when I started using Facebook for strengthening my economics. Owing to my interest in this social media, I keep searching for something innovative on this forum. One day, I found a company requiring a person to post their Ads and blog posts on a Facebook page. They promised to pay me in handy manner. As it turned out, I became quite a good option for the company as I wrote plenty of articles and Ads to promote the sales of the products of the company. This part-time job on my favorite media gives me satisfaction as well as keeps me fresh all the times. I never get tired of working on Facebook as it provides me great financial advantages now. I have found innovative ways to make money that were once a dream. The intense use of Facebook has also affected the way people treat me. Some of my friends keep taunting me that I always keep looking at the same posts time and again. They think that I am wasting my time on idle habits. However, reality is that I have enhanced my circle of influence owing the intelligent use of social media. I am able to search my friends all over the world that were once lost after completing my graduation. I have tremendously enhanced my social circle to include all the beloved people. The relationship between (Gathman) and cell phones is intimate as ever. Gathman was quite passionate about mobile phones. He used to change phones if he finds something good in the market. It is difficult to find new social media sites that are equally as good as the Facebook. However, Facebook itself is sufficient enough to keep use engaged all the times. It is very difficult to get bored when you are using Facebook since you are busy in your favorite activities of monitoring the friends in their statuses and pictures. It is very difficult to explain the feelings aroused by Facebook inside me. I am passionate about its usage. The day feels to be gloomy and dull when I don’t spend some time on Facebook. I use to read articles, update my profile with statuses, and pictures quite regularly. It is difficult to find such a great social media website that provides you plethora of interesting features. Facebook has provided me with my small business opportunity as I have made a fan page on the forum for the company for whom I am working. My articles invite the customers to buy the products of the company. My articles keep the readers engaged all the times while attracting them to purchase the items offered by the company. I heard that making money online is difficult. I have proved this fact wrong. I am making a handsome amount of money out of my Facebook experience. I work hard after my college work to put plenty of stuff for the Fan page so that maximum traffic visits it, increasing the number of clients that are willing to buy the products. They clients read the Ads and the posts that are related to the products. We solve the queries of the customers in a most friendly way. The point of views of Facebook varies with each person. It is difficult to agree on one point in a group when you are discussing something in which nobody is perfect. My intimate relationship with Facebook is everlasting that is growing at quite an alarming rate now. People wonder as they see me visiting my own page on Facebook at least 5 to 6 times a day. Concluding, I think that Facebook is the great option for us in making tremendous progress in our life. It has lead to some confusion, but now the problem has been resolved.
