The benefits of the partnership working have been the focus of many public, private, voluntary, and community organizations. The Council has in the past, played a leading role in establishing and developing partnerships. A range of issues has been identified to address and to ensure that the Council has a consistent and rigorous approach to partnership working so that we are able to obtain full benefits. Clear processes and procedures are necessary to enable us to deliver the services to our service users efficiently, effectively, and properly with our partners (Ref).

Miss C is a young white British lady at the age of 25. She has a young child that is under age but lives with her father under legal requirements. Miss C does not get along with her siblings and her mother thinks that when she goes over to visit her family, she will start beating her siblings.

Miss C lives in supported accommodation and she is supported by a key worker to make sure that she administers her medication on a regular basis. Miss C hates taking her medication and says that the side effects make her really sick and cannot stand taking them. When she stops taking the medication, she relapses and thinks that people are talking about her and fights with others on the street. She is very obsessed with how she looks and constantly looks at herself and uses makeup.

Due to these situations, she was hospitalized in a psychiatric ward and was placed under section 2 for admission and section 4 for assessment, since she has not regularly taken her medication. In view of this, the spell out CPA (CPA) review was called among the professionals (her key worker, psychiatrists, doctor, community nurse) to review her medication.

The aim of the CPA review is to make sure that Miss C complies with the local authorities and takes her prescribed medication so that she does not become ill.  ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
