Human Resource Management Technology has played a very important part within any organization that is willing to make it immensely well within the time and age of today. This is because technology forms the basis for nearly all success points and achievements within a workplace setting. Similarly, technology has played its essential role within the human resource department measures. Human resource management is something that must be understood in an adequate way as this is important for planning out the peculiar phases of dealing with employees on a one to one level, as well as in the organizational contexts. The latter signifies the need for understanding the shared rights and responsibilities that lie both on the shoulders of the employees as well as one organizational domain itself. Hence it is a symbiotic relationship, where both of these work hand in hand for the betterment of one another. Human resource management plays a very vital role within the organizations of today as these set up the eventual basis of success and accomplishment within any industry of present times. More than anything else, there is a need to properly address the need for having a clear cut basis that applies the role of technology within the human resource management realms and hence its manifestations need to be aligned with how employees at large can be given benefits that are commensurate with their work regimes within the organization itself. This paper studies the basis of technology as it brings about a significant change within the organizations of today and more specifically the human resource management divisions. The world of technology has seen many developments happening within its fore. This has happened over a period of time and many critics have even agreed on the premise of a positive change – a change that has happened for all the right reasons and thus brought about the much needed sanity that is required within the organizational matters. The top management has understood the required incorporation of technology as it has played an important role at instilling confidence within the business processes and providing the employees fast paced alternatives towards completion of their work. It has also made them realize that they can do double their work at half the time spent. This is a very befitting testimonial of how technology has been able to spur activity at the business front and similarly been instrumental at creating a positive change for the betterment of the employees and the organization, all at the same time. Technology has manifested growth and development within the organizations as it has looked to build the much needed bridge between the employees and the management. It has created a link that is appreciated by the employees as they seem to do work whilst being provided with the best possible technological tools and devices, so that they have to be at their best whilst delivering quality and value for the sake of the organization in essence. Organizations require the use of technology as it makes the people within it feel empowered, their tasks are carried out in an automated fashion, and hence sanity comes about in an automatic way (Sandberg 2008). This is a very perfect scenario as it helps build new bases, erects grounds that are realistic and constructs a basis for development in the long run. What technology does is to give the top management a clear cut understanding that their decisions within the related discussions and measures have been a correct one. Technological undertakings help the organizations immensely as these tell the top management to discern the exact basis for growth in the numeric sense. This growth would become difficult to envisage let alone complete if technological tools and processes are not employed within the realms of a business concern. The role of technology is growing more and more since the middle tier has also demanded for the same. The middle management is indeed the brain of the organization and hence whatever it demands needs to be analyzed in a proper sense. These comprise of the specialists and the supervisors who know exactly what endeavors need to be carried out so that the organization achieves a great deal in essence. And significantly these changes are something that an organization looks forward to having within its realms for all the good reasons. The development measures are important to ascertain and these are easily justifiable through the technological tools and processes which are brought under the aegis of any organization in the present times. Therefore the need for having a clear cut technological basis is stronger by the day and it will continue to be the case in the times to come. The role of information technology and communications is an important one since both of these look to strengthen the very basis of success within any organization. Both look to achieve statistics that are envisaged by an organization in the coming times and thus build upon the basis of accomplishing its long term goals and objectives. Hence the need for having a proper documentation basis of success is easily measured by the need to have proper technological domains. These are inherently necessary as there is a good enough need for having up to date systems and processes within the working basis of any business hub and concern (Dessinger 2008). It would benefit the end consumers, however the employees would also seek the best returns for a number of different measures and tools would have to be seen and scrutinized by them to achieve quick and productive results. Hence the need for having up to date systems and processes is quintessential as it manifests the short term and long term success graphs. The criteria for judging this success is however dependent on the ways and means through which processes quicken up and the delivery of work is carried about in a proactive and positive way. Similarly the criteria for finding out how these technological tools and measures would mean provision of quality work is also an important consideration. This criterion gives the very basis of differentiating where and how exactly the processes would have been carried out had the technological tools and processes were not employed in the first place, as far as an organizational entity is concerned. The business processes must therefore be clearly understood within the wake of the up and coming technological manifestations and representations. It is important that an organization understands the due role of technology because its eventual basis is linked with the incorporation of technological measures and the standards that need to be uplifted time and time again. What this means is the fact that technology embodies the basis of growth and development over a period of time and not just a single area of development in essence. It justifies its basis by enacting measures which are long-lasting, have a strategic basis and helps in growing beyond the expected quarters. More than anything else, it helps develop the organization with regards to its competitors and thus takes into perspective the shortcomings that it faces every now and so often. All such measures are very important as an organization is doing its best to get up to the required standards as laid down by any industry that is on the development curve and wants to achieve the best possible results over a period of time. Particular emphasis should also be given to the people who make technological prowess a reality and who want to see development happen for all the good reasons. Within the cultural domains of an organization, it is a very serious truth that human resource department plays a role that facilitates in forming a bridge that takes technological developments along with the building up of the organization over a period of time. The role of technology at changing the way the people use the different facets of the human resource department is also a very important consideration as it touches upon quite a significant pointers. In addition, it has got its due place at telling the employees what the organization expects from them in the long run and what they need to do in order to bring out the best possible results. The human resource management department’s functions are therefore checked upon in a stringent fashion by the employees as they seek to find ways through which there could be a point of benefit for them. This also means that they are finding better ways and means through which they can perform and hence bring an advantage for the organization in essence, and not just for their own selves. It is a reality that any employee would direly require a human resource management policy which safeguards his rights over a period of time as well as gives him the much needed benefit that he is seeking from his own organization. However the role of technology within such measures is an equally important one, as it builds the bridge between things that get done in a better way and the exact mannerism of the employees as they seek to justify their meticulous positions within an office place environment. The challenges that arise from the human resource management realms is also very pivotal to comprehend, more so when technology has been able to turn things around at such a rapid pace. This is because technology has been the vital agent that changes things around quickly and makes impossible things seem pretty much possible. It also tackles the negativities that might crop up within the system and hence aims to solve the same in an amicable way. The challenges seem all the more justifiable because these tackle the very basis of growth that has become stuck at a certain rate or when the developmental angles do not quite justify the very basis of capital that has been invested within the domains of the organization. The technology basis is therefore important within this discussion as it centers on the premise of providing state of the art results that are backed up by quality standards, all of which are brought together by the technological tools and processes. The technological role is fitted in well with the way the jobs are structured, the work realms are measured and hence allocated, and lastly the cultural basis is groomed within an organization. The role of the human resource management department is therefore one of a vital one as it builds the bridge as far as these important tenets within an organization are concerned. More than anything else, it helps the employees to understand what they can achieve over a period of time and in which angles they are lacking time and time again. The problems that the technological manifestations have on the role of the human resource department as well as the entire building of the organization are also some of the most important predicaments that need serious consideration, and more so, on the part of the human resource management practitioners. This is because the human resource management department depends a great deal on the actions and undertakings of the employees who form an essential part of the organization and without whom it would be immensely difficult and almost impossible to achieve quick results. Specifically speaking, the human resource management department is at the mercy of the employees that are under its aegis to comply with the standards and procedures that are drafted and hence remain in line with the requirements of the day. This is in clear understanding of how things will shape up within the coming times as far as the organizational graph and work criteria are concerned. The human resource management department coupled with its usage of the information technology and communication measures helps in providing the employees an exact roadmap as to where they stand at a particular period of time and what they would be able to achieve from their present day work endeavors if they incorporate the use of technology more and more. This is not only for their benefit but also the organization that they work for in essence. Technological developments surely have their good points as well as the negative ones. What is needed is a perfect mesh of the two so that more positives could rule the roost over the bad ones and hence the organization and specifically the human resource management department results from the same undertakings and efforts that have been made in the right direction (Dawson 2009). An earnest effort is therefore planned by all such employees who wish to benefit the organization through their work domains and measures as they seek to employ the best use of technology and its related settings over a period of time, in fact do so on a very proactive level, time and time again. All these measures are judged in the light of a governing body that is known by the name of the top management hierarchies within any organization, which basically has the role to take care of all such matters that pertain to the effective usage of technology and its related domains. This will eventually benefit the organization over a period of time and hence benefit the basis of dealing with its employees from a very strategic outlook. Why this is important is gauged by the efforts that even the human resource management department employees make and what they do in order to teach and preach the dictum of this department also embodies the sort of loyalty that they seek to have from the rest of the employees. In the end, it is very significant to state here that technology solves nearly all the problems which are encountered within the human resource management departments and indeed the organizations in the time and age of today. Technology is a weapon that if used properly can bring out results which are not only long-lasting but also strategic in their focus and direction. Therefore all out efforts are required which can take care of the human resource management undertakings and actions as these embody the basis of success in the long run. In essence, technology takes complete control over those work behaviors which require manual control and thus relieves the people from the mental issues that they undergo whilst under work domains. The impact of technological developments is a strong one as it takes care of all the positives that come under its folds. Similarly the negatives could be adjudged with a clear cut perspective, and this can only happen when people have a drive to remain on their feet and implement the basis of bringing success for the domains of the human resource department and indeed the organization in essence. All said and done, it is of paramount significance to state here that the roles and responsibilities are very important to define within a human resource management department to take care of the strengths that remain within the aegis of technology. Technology is a power tool that if used properly can bring out the best possible results in the long run. References Dawson, R. (2009).
