Human Resource Strategic Planning al Affiliation How important is Human Resource Strategic Planning to an organization? To create a link between HR management and the strategic planning of an organization, a comprehensive strategic planning plays a crucial role in the long term achievement of an organization’s objectives. Considering that the HR strategic planning supports all other objectives of an organization with specific reference to financial, marketing, and technology undertakings, it is vital to understand the course of a strategic planning (Arlington 2005).

The workforce panning provides a framework for an organization’s most valued asset that is the personnel. A comprehensive HR strategy aims to capture the vital element of its operations (the personnel) in an effort to achieve its objectives which includes having valuable skills at disposal, having the right personnel in place, ensuring that the employees have the right attitude and behavior, and developing them in the right way. With the identification of fundamental underlying issues and addressing the needs and rights of employees, an organization thrives successfully (Bachet 2008).

While addressing issues affecting the people within the organization, HR strategic plan strives to concentrate on workforce skills, employment equity, motivation and fair treatment of employees as well as developing black economic empowerment initiatives. In addition, career development framework is as important as grading and remuneration to an organization’s Human Resource policy. Development framework within an organization is essential at equipping employees with valuable life and professional knowledge so that they can easily adapt to transitions within the workplace (Arlington 2005).

Because of the global demand of HR strategy planning, careful organization and planning of employee issues makes it easier for an organization to achieve its strategic goals. ReferencesArlington, V.
