It is important to learn that change transition is gradual because it involves an overhaul of the whole management plan. This understanding can help persons be patient with the change process (Lewis 46).

This learning point is crucial because it can help change the way people look at neutral zone negatively. An important stage can help individuals launch into a new stage having a better understanding of themselves and their direction (Lewis 46).

This is a key learning point because the neutral zone acts as a redefining moment in the life of an individual. This understanding can an individual learn that difficulties are temporary and that they will go away once he or she succeeds out of this zone (Lewis 47).

This is an important learning point because it underscores effectiveness as an indicator of good leadership. This draws from the role of a leader in coordinating the activities of the team and providing direction (Lewis 48).

It is important to learn to expect change at all times because change is inevitable. Being ready for change makes an individual to find it easy adjusting to the new circumstances (Lewis 48).
3. Fairness / honesty with your employees will create a trusting environment which will lead to success
It is crucial to learn that fairness and honesty creates a trusting environment and leads to success because it wins the support of the team towards a leader’s plans. This way, the leader does not strain mobilizing group members for action (Lewis 49).

1. “If you love what you’re doing, you won’t work a day in your life” in the performing stage employees should enjoy what they are doing. Group 10
This is a critical learning point because enjoying what one does makes them to surpass the organization’s mandate. It also gives him or her morale to work even if the task is routine (Lewis 50).
2. Don’t overact to resistance and opposition. People are responding to the change, not to you. Group 10
Learning not to overact to resistance and opposition is important because it help to remain objective. This way, a change leader gets time to plan how to counter the resistance in a way that does not scare away the support of the team (Lewis 51).
3. Low trust means the transition will not be very successful. Group 10
It is important to learn that low trust makes individuals fear for the welfare and this makes them not embrace the change thus disrupting the success of the transition. The change leader needs to convince the team that their welfare is his or her concern (Lewis 52).

This is a key learning point because change leaders need to understand that change needs resources that are scarce. Budgets and plans help allocate these scare resources (Lewis 52).

This is important because successful change is led by a vision in order to achieve the desired goal. It takes into account the feelings of the members of the team (Lewis 53).

There is need for change leaders to persuade the team of the efficacy of the intended change plan inviting their participation in the change process. A compelling vision implores people to be proactive in realizing the goal of the change process (Lewis 54).

Winning in a change process makes individuals gain confidence. It serves as evidence of good things to those who had not embraced the change thus making them to join in the process (Lewis 55).
3. Wins give those working hard to achieve a vision a pat on the back, an emotional uplift.
A win in the change process gives the change team optimism and happiness. As such, wins are rewarding (Lewis 56).

This underscores the need for monitoring and evaluating the change. This way, groups are able to ascertain their progress (Lewis 58).

1. The more time the team has to prepare for the change, the better the outcome will be since any changes made will affect employees’ moral, indefinitely (Lewis 62).
Extensive planning gives change leaders time to consider the resources needed for change, time it will take to finish and the negative and positive effects of change. This makes the change effective and comprehensive (Lewis 63).
2. The higher the position of the person being let go, the more careful the change agents need to be for the outcome.
Changing high-ranking persons threatens their influence and the welfare of those who benefit from it. As such, change agents need to be prepared for the difficulty that will result from challenging this status quo (Lewis 64).
3. With careful planning and perfect timing, organizations can successfully complete change tasks and steer the company to the right path to success.
Careful planning helps anticipate and prepare for all requirements involved in the change process. Perfect timing helps initiate the change when the target group is most prepared to receive it (Lewis 65).
The most important learning point is planning. This is because without planning, change cannot take off and if it does, it will be disharmonious. The vision and desired goals of a change process are envisaged in the planning stage. Planning determines the success of the change (Lewis 66).
