Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation differs in different contexts. For instance, in the workplace, extrinsic motivation comes from either monthly or weekly salaries. On the other hand, the source of intrinsic motivation can be from the desire to build one’s skills. Schools have different ways of motivation (Sansone 27). These include good grades in the examinations and exemplary teaching methods from tutors. Back in our homes, nice comments from our parents are great sources of motivation.

This gives someone a sense of belonging. Consumer motivation is an important aspect of any project or business venture. It is an essential tool because of increases the number of consumers and profits. This means that managers have to be keen to know what fully satisfies their consumers. They should seek to know the sources of customer’s dissatisfaction (Sansone 54). To motivate customers, managers have to try to know the areas of improvement in the delivery of services. These may include the features absent in the offered services and the charges.

Total consumers satisfaction promises a positive impact on the growth of the ICON Health and Fitness. It is evident from the above discussion motivation is a great source of energy to succeed in any endeavor.
