The reason I chose these two programs was because Piers Morgan, being a British national hosting an American political talk show could provide what I felt would be an international point of view on the topic being discussed while Hannity could provide the traditional American point of view on the issues being discussed which in this case... with...

...The six oclock news led off with a story about the upcoming Labor Day weekend, and about the weather that is expected. It showed different shots of people enjoying Labor Day festivities. The only detail that was provided during this segment was about the weather, nothing about the actual festivities. The next story was about a wildfire that was allegedly started by two illegal immigrants that were in distress, so built a fire to attract attention. The story gave basic information about the fire – how many acres, etc. This segment was not very long. The next segment was quite a bit longer than the other two, and had many more details. Writing a news story

...are being issued warnings about the potential of danger near clubs and restaurants on Sunshine Coast. There are people being hurt and others being affected because these things are spilling into the streets and there is a ripple effect,” Sergeant Thomsen said. “It’s bad, mate, really bad.” One interview that I would suggest to strengthen this story would be one of an eye witness who saw the entire incident. Reading and news story

...Teacher First Part The reading was about photojournalism and in particular, about the circumstances surrounding a certain photographthat transforms a picture to a story. Photographs have the unique ability to represent external reality that authenticates evidence and identify truth and expose deception and it has been useful throughout history. The reading made sense but I do not think that it is abreast with the times. I particularly chose the portion in the reading that mentions its ability to authenticate evidence and identify truth and expose deception because it is no longer the case. The advances in technology enable everyone who has simple knowledge in computer to tinker with images with simple application...
