Other (s) Perkin’s Recommendations Generally there are a number of recommended actions at the end of Perkins book that can be undertaken by individuals in order to put a stop to the rising corporatocracy and develop a more prosperous and peaceful world. Throughout the book, Perkins describes Corporatocracy as a group of business individuals and leaders who use their influence to control governments and the media in their quest to continue exploiting the rest of the world. In this regard, the ruthlessness as well as the greed of the corporatocracy practices only serve to advance their selfish interests and at the expense of the environment and the citizens at large. Despite the negative effects of corporatocracy to world peace, social equality and environmental conservation, Perkin concludes the book by suggesting a number of actions that can be taken by individuals and organizations to help stop the domination of culture and environmental destruction by the rising corporatocracy.
Some of the actions that can be taken by individuals to stop corporatocracy include rejecting philosophical and commercial materialism, taking up trade and finally being re-empowered to make key decisions regarding their lives, families and communities (Perkins, 319). In my opinion, all these actions are important because they will empower individual citizens to rise above the exploitation by the corporate. Additionally some of these actions such as re-empowering individuals and rejecting materialism can help nurture world peace, preserve our environment and ensure social equality. As a youth one of the actions that I can take is to take up trade to gain self sufficiency. This is particularly a sustainable future generation depends on how we effectively use our energy, imagination and creativity to achieve self sufficiency and overcome the horrific injustices of corporatocracy.

Schindlers List

...the film and consider it a masterpiece in filmmaking, a symphony of different experts (director, scriptwriter, cinematographer, costume designer, actor, composer and all) to come together and re-imagine history. Ironically, the thing that is most captivating in the movie is also the one that causes confusion to me. Figuratively shown in black-and-white, the characters also essay the roles in black and white, Germans (except Schindler) pure black and Jews pure white. Perhaps, if I had directed the movie, I would have tried to be bit more realistic. References: Manchel, F. (1995 March). ...and the film. The main similarities come with the plot line by showing the horrors of the Holocaust then juxtaposing this with the work of Schindler’s list. The overall plot line is able to stay the same with those who leave Auschwitz and other camps to join the business that Schindler runs. This is combined with the idea of the list that he uses to help to free those that are needed in the factory. The dialogue also remains similar in both, specifically with the highlighted parts that show the character of Schindler. For instance, when speaking to the Jewish priest at the end, he asks him to observe Sabbath. This is similar to the dialogue that is in the...

Corporatocracy

...Personal ment It is my dream to work in the field of Foreign Service. There is this innate and genuine commitment to address the ills that corporatocracy gives to a developed society. But my dream does not end there, I also have a vision of living in a world where corporatocracy does not exist. One strongly believes that corporatocracy, explicitly defined as “a society or system that is governed or controlled by corporations” (Corporatocracy, n.d.) governs America; more than democracy (Alternet.org, n.d.). It is sad to note that giant corporations partner with corporate collaborator government officials...
