With the crash, the twin towers came under swathe with immense flames of fire that looked like plumes of smoke into the air. People were not able to understand as to what happened when this terrible incident further continued its disaster with one of plane crash into the Pentagon building situated in Washington D.C. However, the terrorist did not succeeded in their last plan due to which the plane came under crashing in the fields of Pennsylvania4. With the entire event of 9/11 that destroyed the lives of abundant denizens of U.S., one of the questions that came under observation was in alliance to the security. This is due to the reason that the calamitous incident came under happening as the terrorists hijacked four of the planes that came under destination within United States5. Several salient and crucial questions came under surveillance with relation to the security: How were the terrorists able to hijack the planes? Where did they get the weapons from? How did they have the access to the weapons? How did they get the security clearance from the airport security? However, these critical queries lead to a big question mark on to the security of the United States. Moreover, a series of questions in context to the global security after 9/11 has also come under limelight: Can the terrorist who come under profound enthusiasm of attacking and creating damage or ruining the Western civilization come to a halt? Can the advanced technological weaponries, tools, techniques, and arms come under control that the terrorists are...

Nevertheless, it can come under well conclusion that security is one of the complicated and multidimensional activities that it may in few instances in time give rise to new and unidentified threats. Moreover, to deal with terrorist and terrorism have become more challenging while maintaining the security level of the countries. September 11, became the turning point for the nations that gave them the awareness to look into the security measurements as one of the imperative aspects. According to the Director General of United Nations, “Terrorism is a global threat that can never be justified. A new vision of global security is needed-one that must confront terrorism, respect human rights and draw upon multilateral cooperation”. Therefore, for this reason, countries all over the world have made their priority to deal and fight against the global terrorism. Conclusively, the context has shifted from state-to-state conflicts to a small cluster of opponents that seem to be managing all the terrorist activities globally. This has enabled countries, such as USA & UK to centralize the process of global security decision-making; however, this has scrambled many security-related issues, especially state-to-state conflicts that are now under lack of attention and focus, and subsequently, causing more terrorism than before. ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
