People whose organs don't work properly live half-lives that don't affect just them but all the people they love. It is very simple; all you have to do is carry around a donor card in your wallet or purse. It tells doctors that if you die your organs can be used to help people. You may also show that you are a donor on your driver's license. One donor can give more than twelve different organs and tissues. You may not be saving the life of only just one person; you could be saving the life of twelve (Kennedy, 1).

That is a big difference in many lives. Most people have a positive attitude toward organ donation but few actually have donor cards.There are many myths about organ donation such as the organs will be taken from your body before you even die. Some people fear that it will cost a lot to their families or say that it is against their religion. Most of these aren't true. There is no outlay to the family of the donor, and most religions do prop up organ donation
