Haiti earthquake resulted to death of approximately 250,000 people while large part of Port au Prince was destroyed (Laura, 2010).

Up to now, the effect of the earthquake is still being felt by the families of the victims as well as the communities, the government and other aids organizations. Zuckerberg global health plan will thus be in a position to support such families by providing funds that will help the families and the affected children to acquire basic needs in addition to constructing of good shelter (Garrett, 2007).
