? Leadership in healthcare al Affiliation: Leadership action plan I am currently working on finalising my studies under healthcare where in future i intend to implement strategies that will make my services to patients effective enough. In the next two years, I plan to have my own institution where i will be the leader in order to manage it according to my own skills in leadership. I have volunteered to set time for training individuals who aspire to be healthcare professional so that they can be my followers and for those who wish to be future leaders, they can as well move and develop their own institutions as i train new personnel (Avery, 2004, 25). I would like to make them understand more about healthcare so that together we can join efforts for the betterment of the society. I am determined to training individuals who will be committed, determined, passionate, confident and courageous (Gill, 2006, 94). I have chosen on these characters because they are all needed in a person who has all of them. Personally I posses this characters which makes me suitable for this service provision. In my way to achieving my goal i wish to get support from my friends, family members, my determination and colleagues who have more experience in this field. I intend to input effort strong enough to make sure i succeed in what i want to achieve through the help of other able and willing individuals (Fisher, Ury and Patten, 2003, 76). There are some issues that i face while working hard to achieve my goal and there are those that i will experience in the future as well. Some of them are financial issues, gender and cultural differences lack of enough influential personnel. What i know is that with the determination I have I will face all these challenges with courage and pull through to success (Little, Vandenhouten and Wilson, 2013, 92). Possession of these characters fits an individual who can work in a healthcare effectively because they have the ability to handle patients fairly (Adair, 1988, 46). In the next two years i plan on opening up my own healthcare institution to make sure that i assist the people in my region with their health issues. In this case, i plan on implementing many strategies that will enable me have quality services offered to my clients. To make sure that i offer quality services i intend on undertaking many things to make sure that my juniors work effectively(McAlearney, 2010, 212). All the working issues are related and i need to make them effective which is what i intend to do. They are all related because in the field of healthcare, they affect every undertaking in the institution. In this case, i will work hard to ensure that in all these fields everything is perfect so that i can make my clients happy, have them stay in a conducive environment and make them have a sense of belonging in the society. Good working relationship I will ensure that all my employees have a good relationship within themselves. Not only will i make this happen but also have them work well with the patients that will attend my institution. I will start with myself to show a good example to may juniors so that they can follow my steps and this will help me not to have any problems with developing a good and respectable relationship in my institution at large (Aljoudi, 2013, 10). Managing my services I will make sure that i monitor all the undertakings that take place in my institution so that i can have a review of every activity. I will monitor all undertakings to make sure that all employees carry out their duties to completion so that my clients will always have the best services (Marien and Jennings, 1990, 69). I will also ensure that i provide my employees with all the a]facilities required to carry out healthcare activities making sure that they all work effectively and whenever any facilities require replacements, i will always do the necessary just to make sure that my services are effective. Improving my services Having in mind that healthcare deals with critical issues, i intend to implement two major effective strategies especially for patients who are iv very critical conditions as healthcare is all about helping patients in order to save their lives and make them regain strength. These two strategies are mechanical ventilation (Bass and Aviolo, 1994, 556). For those who need support for life (Tobin, 2012, 48). and join hands with CNH program institutions to support my department financially in constructional terms. Healthcare undertakings deal with the health situation meaning that my CNH program and mechanical ventilation (Ambrosino, 2008, 28). will definitely be in line with my future aspirations. Setting the direction I will make certain that all the strategies and aspirations of the institution are effective. I will do this by keeping record of all the factors that are taken into the account. I will also gather facts in order to identify various opportunities for service improvements and make up decisions that will in turn help me to make the best choices for my institution (Byrd, 2003, 861). Creating vision and delivering the strategy For me to make effective ad best choice for a better vision of the future, i have to sacrifice and make sure that i work as hard as i can to accomplish some things. In this case i will determine the direction and work with partners from other organizations in order to motivate my employees to work towards achieving what is set. The support I receive in accomplishing my vision The support that I get to make sure that I achieve my set goal of opening p my own institution starts within me. I am determined and I sacrifice my time on working hard for my dream to come true. This determination and self-esteem in me makes me not to concentrate on those people who have negative attitudes towards my career claiming that I may not make it. I ignore them so that I may not lose hope and trudge on with confidence that I will achieve what I want to (Chow, 2009, 89). The knowledge I have acquired during my years of study and what I will acquire after I complete my studies will make it possible for me to achieve this goal of having my own healthcare institution. I have always dreamed of this and this is the reason why I chose to take a course dealing with healthcare to expand my knowledge so that I can have an easy time with my job in the future. The other advantage is that I have had the opportunity to meet professionals in this sector who are ready to give me support with my work to make sure that I do not experience many challenges. With the thought of improving my services, I have friends who work with the CNH institutions and they are the ones I will join hands with so that I can make the CNH program implementation effective (Dolon, 2010, 6). My family on the other hand is also supportive as they always give me hope that I will make it and they are always there to support me in my studies as well as I spend my time making my future better. Overcoming barriers in accomplishing my vision. I have determination. There are people who discourage me since they tell that if it is working in a healthcare organization I can make it but not opening my own institution. This is one discouraging issue but the determination and hope that I will make it is what keeps me going, I wake up every morning believing that I will one day make it to seeing the ill people in my region attended to so that that they can regain their health and strength. I therefore work hard ignoring all those who discourage me so that I can make it. Financial problem is one of the issues that. I have to pay for all my lectures because there are equally important as they help me build that future I dream of. I have a family to take care of which makes it difficult because I have many expenses but is still have to work on achieving my goals in life. I always make sure that I take care of everything and for my family, I have a supportive one which makes the burden lighter because I am not the one to cater for everything. With this support I make sure that all my lectures are paid for because my main aim is to accomplish my vision. Generally what I do make sure that I face the challenges that come any way with courage, not losing hope and having faith that even though I face quite rough times, i will end up being happy as an individual who has accomplished his goals in life. Rationale I believe and have great confidence that the knowledge i have acquired through the course i am undertaking will help me run a healthcare institution effectively. I have all the characters i prefer in an in individual who aspires to be a healthcare professional (Jarousse, 2010, 32). That is why i believe i can make it in this field. The other facet that contributes to my will for working as a healthcare is the fact that i have always dreamt of working in this sector. It has been my dream and wish that some day in life i will work to save other peoples’ lives. As a future leader, i intend to make certain that my institution is the best in my eyes and those of the patients. This is by ensuring that i work hard to help patients and let them feel loved in the society (Walshe and Smith, 2006, 85). I am ready to face all the challenges that come along with clinical situations and i am willing to work on them so that i can pull through successfully. I will make sure that i apply all the skills and knowledge i acquired while training for effective services. I know that my skills will help me achieve my goals and be an individual who helps others in the society at large. In the next two years i intend to implement two major leadership styles for effective services of healthcare. These two methods are dictatorial technique and partnership leadership (Gunderman, 2009, 30). With the dictatorial technique, i will implement it to make certain that my junior staff take heed of all the instructions i give to them. Since i will be acting as the leader, i will be the one to give out instructions and they should work according to how i instruct them the fact that they will have to follow my instructions is the reason why i will have to use this leadership style(Mullins and Constable, 2008, 82). Partnership leadership is another style i intend to use. As a leader i know that i will have many responsibilities to take care of which mean i will need team work for my services to be effective. In this case, i will have my junior staff forming various groups where i will allocate responsibilities to each group (Papadakos, 2007, 55). For these responsibilities to be dove to completion, they will do them in groups so that they can manage faster. These groups will therefore, act as partnership groups as they will take care of work in groups rather than individually. I will have this implementation because healthcare services require attention because it involves lives of individuals meaning it should be handles with care with concentration. Conclusion This essay generally explains all the skills needed to be a healthcare professional. There are many challenges faced in this field but it is the responsibility of the individual to face them and work hard to find solutions for them. In this case, professionals should help train more individuals who can help in saving more lives by helping the sick to get well and regain strength (Buerhaus, 2009, 72). This is exactly what i intend to do in order to make a better society health wise. Bibliography Adair,J. (1988) Effective Leadership, New York: Pan Aljoudi, A. S. (2013).
