What are the consequences in not being culturally competent? Quality healthcare in societies reflect advancement and development of the nation which can be achieved through consistent effective policies of state, involvement of institution and cooperation of people to develop the infrastructure that is technology oriented with state of the art facilities available in one platform, for the wellbeing of society. Creating quality in services is not one time activity but an enduring process which should follow the Japanese concept of TQM (Total Quality Management and Continuous Improvement). In this regard, health care providers play an important role for creating and maintaining high quality health care organizations by providing services from admission to discharge of patients with marginal utility and a sense of healthiness (Enthoven & Vorhaus, 1997). To build a high quality health care organization, one desperately needs to have a world class educated and renowned faculty of physicians. In addition to medical staff, paramedical and support services personnel are also mandatory that must be caring and friendly enough to meet the patient cut of line satisfaction criteria. The motive should not be earning profit because it is a social cause and their performance can never be measured in monetary terms but healthiness and prosperity of society. It is not only the challenge for specific group but an issue for every individual who exists whether belonging to state, corporate or local institutions irrespective of any ethnic or political dimensions because it is the issue of health that can never be ignored in any era or be left on the mercy of a specific cluster (Cheek & Rudge, 1994). The input of all stakeholders should be incorporated to meet the demand and expectations of the population as a whole. To live a healthy and a prosperous life, quality healthcare is a necessary ingredient. Everyone wants to be healthy and look good; it is only possible when the systematic healthcare facilities are available, that is cost effective and easy to access for everyone. Otherwise the societies would not flourish because people will experience frequent diseases and infections for which the cure will not be possible. The healthcare organization should focus on continuous improvement of procedures and systems that are parallel to modern scientific invention and innovations, made in the field of science since we are living in a dynamic environment. So every organization who wishes to offer high quality healthcare services should be adoptive enough to provide patient satisfactory services. As a corporate Jorgen, customer satisfaction is organization’s top most priority which leads to success of business, similarly patient are the client of hospital and private clinics whose satisfaction is the success of social cause, healthier and prosperous life of people in society.( Focus on quality in a changing health care system, 2000). Every organization should define the parameter to measure its performance in a specific relevant period of time so that it can make improvement in its services accordingly. The quality health care services providers must pursue the simple and logical process; Evaluation, Treatment, Care, Prevention and Administration. The first and the foremost action to be taken by healthcare providers is the evaluation of patient to find out the disease. The relevant surgeon, who is specialized in that field, should be deployed for diagnosis purpose. Failure to do so will cause danger for the health of patient and unnecessary delay might cause death even. Timely evaluation by healthcare providers is a sign of high quality services to the society. Once the evaluation process takes place successfully, the treatment process starts. The physicians’ prescription should be according to the level of disease that arises and should go behind the standard practices, as and when lay down and applicable by the regulatory authority. The most important thing, that healthcare providers should notice and be vigilant about, is to make sure the availability of prescription whether its pharmacy supplies or laboratory test in one platform, so that the patient can be entertained within the premises of hospital. Care is the prerequisite during the treatment phase since they go parallel to each other. Physicians and paramedical should be available every time to deal any critical conditions or uncertain misfortune. Proper care plays a very important role during this process because patient always recover in this phase of rehabilitation. Health care providers play a role of educator as well as healer, physically and emotionally, in order to prevent from another vague ailment that again harm the patient severely. Physicians and specialist should provide the comprehensive plan to the patient that includes healthy diet, daily exercise and drills, counseling to deal with any emotional issues that cause abrupt breakdown. After comprehensive analysis and diagnosis, the physicians should provide the proper dose of medicine and make sure the timely compliance of it. Last but not the least, the support services department should be competitive and dynamic enough to keep all the records of every patient and make it possible that everything should be documented and ensure privacy. Support services helps to keep smooth running of operations without unnecessary impediment that causes patient discontent. Support service department includes Billing, Communication, Engineering, HIMS (Hospital Information Management System), Reception etc. Their caring and friendly behavior will further help the organization to make possible the patient satisfaction that ultimately enhances the quality of healthcare service to society. This process should be simple and understandable to everyone so that nobody feels discomfort when they bring patient in emergency. The systematic flow of this process should be carried out and complied with according to the global standards (Ray, 2010). Health care providers always focus on safe, high quality patient care because every organ of state, corporate stakeholders and individuals have their own vested interest. To provide high quality health care services, is the responsibility of state. In this regard, the policy makers should address the issue of health in the same vitality as they are dealing with the monetary issues. Health care providers should not strive for making profit but put efforts for well being of the society as a whole. Those who are working for the social cause are major stakeholders, they should invite others potential participant of society to work together so that combined efforts will definitely remove the all syndromes from the society. The benefits of healthier and prosperous society are plentiful that includes happy social life, environmental protection, development and advancement of society and prosperous future. If the situation is slightly opposite, then it is a really frightening circumstance because numerous diseases can appear to attack through atmosphere if the preventive measures are not taken. There consequences will be very hazardous and it will promote chaos in the society that ruin the whole civilization from the foundation. In a nutshell, it is really necessary for the people to enjoy the best quality healthcare services to live better and healthy life, so that they can positively contribute to the development of country and nation as a whole (Kenagy et al, 1999). To build the hospital, does not guarantee that it will provide good quality services; but the vision of hospital should be achieved within the period specified therein, while following the standard procedure and technique approved by regulatory authority to offer the best services to patient. If it is not the case, the nation will be called as backward and experience abundant set of symptoms that have cure but unavailability would lead to further damage for the patient and society as whole.
