The agency can consist not only of basic needs but also works with a coordinated care model. This allows the hearing impaired and deaf to have access to resources that are currently causing inequity in the community while inviting in new levels of health with the consistent maintenance programs and long term health care offered through the agency. Narrative Description The need to have services for disabled communities also changes the quality of life while enhancing the care and applications to health.

Facing disabilities is challenging because of the different associations with the community. Social and cultural expectations are developed that are based on responding to those with disabilities in a certain manner. This is combined with the lack of resources and tools required to assist those who have a disability, specifically in terms of health care. Deaf and hearing impairments are one of the difficulties which many face, specifically because of the lack of tools and focus based on these communities in terms of providing health care.

The complication comes because deaf and hearing impairments are still able to function in other physical terms. Many of the providers do not work toward solutions for this disability, specifically because it is expected that those with the disability will adjust to the required situation. A problem which continues to persist among health care organizations is based on the inability to meet the needs of the hearing impaired and deaf community. Specialized needs include long term care, maintenance programs and the ability to have more communication, education and knowledge provided with the long term care.
