Personal ment My is Reza Ghasemi and I am a resident of Austin, Texas. I was born in the year 1978 in Iran and my family lived in the country until we moved to the United States of America. I belong to a highly educated family which greatly supports the importance of educational qualifications and knowledge. My father was a very learned man and he came to the United States in the year 1969 to complete his graduation in the field of chemical engineering from the University of Oklahoma. He further pursued his career and completed his masters from the United States as well from the University of Houston. My mother was also a junior high school teacher. The learning environment and atmosphere of my house pushed me and my siblings to complete our education in the best possible manner. My brother completed his masters in Industrial Management and my sister completed her masters in English Literature. I had a greater drift towards the field of science and hence I chose veterinary medicine as my field of choice. Ever since I was a young child, I always aimed to achieve success and complete my education to the highest standards. I have been a strong believer of the fact that knowledge and education are very important in the life of an individual and it is through educational achievements that a person can hope to achieve success in his life. My motivation was mainly towards the field of science as I believe that science teaches a person about the existence of life and it brings an individual close to the understanding of important aspects of the relationship of mankind with his surroundings. It is a field which guides an individual to all forms of life on the planet and teaches a person about the interwoven nature of the living beings. The field of science unwinds the complexity of life and nature and gives answers to questions which cannot be understood otherwise. I followed my aim and excelled in my educational qualifications in school and college. I actively participated in all the educational activities in order to grasp as much knowledge as I could. I opted for the field of veterinary medicine and devoted my time to my education so that I could truly be able to have a grip on my field and fulfill the requirements of a veterinary doctor. I successfully completed my degree of Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. The completion of my degree was only a start and I started working towards achieving enough practical experience in my field. Through my exposure and experience, I got a clear picture of the field of medicine and started closely monitoring the requirements and duties of a doctor. I realized that the field of medicine is an intriguing field where a person learns about the human body and its relation to the environment. Medicine is a path that leads a person to assist other human beings for the cure of their pathological conditions. It is a field where a person has a firsthand in the assistance of other people and recognizes the issues and problems of others. I came to realize that I had a true desire to study medicine and opt for this field as my career path. My attachment with the field of medicine has made me take the strong step of choosing this field irrespective of the difficulties that would come in my way. I am a staunch believer of the fact that the achievement of success requires much hard work and determination. To achieve ones goal a person always has to strive and work hard irrespective of the difficult path that lies ahead. It is through my determination and strong will that I have been able to take such a strong step. My wife has been highly supportive of my decision and she has strongly upheld my decision. She is an educated woman and realizes the complicated course that I have opted for but we have decided to face all the difficulties that would come our way. The achievement of ambitions and goals is extremely essential in an individual’s life and it is for this purpose that I have chosen to dedicate myself to the field of medicine. I am fully aware of the fact that the road to success for my chosen career will not be easy and I will have to make many sacrifices but I am more than ready to face all the challenges and difficulties that would come my way. I will dedicate my time and efforts for the achievement of my goal. I will utilize my practical experiences of the field of veterinary medicine to facilitate my learning. I have firsthand experience in the laboratory of veterinary medicine where I worked as a manager for five years. This experience was of utmost usefulness as I performed many important tests which will prove to be beneficial for me in my studies of medicine. I have expertise over the subject of microbiology and I have performed many important laboratory tests which include Elisa Analysis, detection of different microbiological organisms as well as other culture methods. This knowledge will help me in the laboratory work and I can also prove to be of assistance. Furthermore, I have also conducted researches on interesting subjects which has provided me with expertise over the methods of conducting researches. The research subjects include Aflatoxin B1 and M1 as well as heavy metal measurement. This will help me in carrying out researches in the field of medicine and also prove to be beneficial in research activities in the college. Not only this, I will be more than willing to assist my colleagues in their problems related to the areas of my expertise and I will share my previous experiences with them. I am currently enrolled in college for the program of degree holder non degree seeker. This is for the purpose of completion of my 90 credit hours to become eligible for admission in the program of doctorate of medicine. Thus, I have taken my first step towards the achievement of my goal. I have decided to climb all the steps that lead towards my goal irrespective of the difficulties that I might face. I will dedicate my time as well as my efforts for the achievement of my degree. The University of Texas will provide me with the best opportunities for pursuing my career in the field of medicine. It is one of the finest universities of the country and has the best teaching standards. It is known for the availability of the premium teaching faculty as well as strictly regulated educational programs. It is recognized for the production of graduates who truly excel in their fields. It will be an honor for me if I am granted a place in the university and I ensure you of the fact that I will put in all my efforts and strength during my educational years. I will uphold the name of your university and I will truly avail my opportunity of studying medicine. I will put in my skills and utilize my potential for the completion of my course in the best possible manner. I really look forward to the accomplishment of my goal of studying medicine and to see myself as a doctor. I will put my knowledge and education into practice in the most optimal way for serving mankind and for the assistance of people who are truly in need of help. Read More
