However, as far as Telco Exchange agrees to change the CEO and appoint someone who is suggested by Valhalla, this risk is solved to a great extent. The scope of the field Telco Exchange is engaged in is evident from the Aberdeen finding that while the average profit of a Fortune 500 company is 1% of its revenue, the money the company spends on telecommunications is around 0.84% of the total amount. So, as far as Telco manages to provide highly integrated and comprehensive solutions, there will be growth, or, at least, the business will not go down. Though there is a possibility that some financially able competitors like MSS Group, Teldta Control, Profitline, and QuantumShift may try to develop software solutions, they will address only the financial part of the issue, thus failing to address inventory management and service order. So, there is no possibility of any serious threat to Telco Exchange in the near future. Hence, Art Marks can vote to invest in Telco Exchange. B. ...
However, as the companies know, these are not complete solutions as they do not address the root cause of the problem. On the other hand, Telco Exchange offers a much more comprehensive and integrated solution that identifies the root causes and the unnecessary services and equipments. It also helps prevent erroneous ordering and make sure that the elements which are not needed are eliminated. In addition, it provides a holistic view of the communication infrastructure of the companies. Furthermore, Telco Exchange helps automating the ordering process, thus making the data available for all parties to work with. This helps to ensure that the corporate policies are properly followed. Thus, it becomes evident that the outsourcing approach will not provide a solution that is as effective as that of Telco Exchange, and hence not a risk. The third risk is that the present management is unproven, with a CEO aged 70. In addition, the CTO is his son. It is necessary for the company to change the existing management, however, without any effect on the existing customers and performance. C. The Valhalla due diligence is perfect in the fact that though it may fail to provide huge profit through investment based on wild assumptions, it takes maximum care on not losing the investment. Thus, investors are offered an investment that is free from risk to the maximum possible extent. The investment decision is taken after duly studying the investment memo, and to take the decision, the whole board should vote unanimously; not based on majority. This ensures that all issues and risks concerning the investment are fully analyzed and not even a ...Download file to see next pagesRead More

Faith and Works - Comparison of James 2:14 and Romans 4

While the apostles James and Paul agree that Faith connotes belief in God and Works connotes good actions, James contends that faith and works are both essential for salvation, while Paul asserts that faith is the only requisite.

James is unequivocal in his declaration that “faith by itself if it has no works, is dead” (2:17). However, he does not discount the importance of faith. His contention is that both are essential and one, without the other, is futile. He is addressing Christians, who, we may assume, are already among the congregation of the faithful, by virtue of their professed belief “that God is one” (2:19). Therefore, James accepts that faith is a precondition for salvation but asser...

Symbolic vs. Functional Recruitment: Wendys

There is social inequality in India, a difference like lack of teamwork, managers like working individually unlike the Americans, the Indians give priority to culture and family over work while for the Americans work takes precedence. Both are risk-takers and developing personal relations is important for the American while it isn’t for the Indians. Such differences can make it difficult for them to work together.
The next part of the report focuses on expatriation and repatriation. The national culture might make it difficult for the expatriates to adjust unless laws and regulations are established to initiate an effort to encourage better-coordinated work between the two. The expatriates might feel insecure about thei...

Why Is Breast-Feeding Low among Young Mothers below the Age of 20 Years Old in the U.K

The benefits that are derived by breastfed babies include less morbidity from gastrointestinal infections and reduction in respiratory tract infections and atopic dermatitis. Besides being an economical means of providing adequate nutrition for the baby the mother derives the benefit of reduced risk for breast cancer, particularly so, when the breastfeeding is extended for a longer period of time. (1).

In spite of this worldwide recommendation for breastfeeding babies, there is a wide disparity in the breastfeeding of babies in the developing world and in the developed world. In the developing countries, the knowledge of the benefits of breastfeeding and the skills for breastfeeding has been retained in the societ...

Analysis of Isaiah 61:1-11 Book

The focus of this exposition is the book of Isaiah chapter 61: 1-11.  The King James Version of the Bible is used as well as the Judaica Press Complete Tanach Yeshayahu Chapter 61.  The Jewish Publication Society Tanach (1917) is also used.  Lastly, Rashi’s commentary is referred to as well.  It is worthy of mention that both the Jewish and Christian perspectives are explored here and that, in the true essence of research, one is not favored over the other.  Isaiah Ben Amoz was considered a prophet in his time. He was known to predict the deliverance of Jerusalem from the Assyrians. Jerusalem was freed from the control of the Assyrians in 701 B.C. which added to his credibility as a prophet. The whol...

Police and Society: Post 9/11

The paper then takes note of a number of initiatives that have attempted to combine local policing with intelligence work. This shift from crime-prevention to counter-terrorism has had a profound effect upon these local law enforcement divisions; lack of proper funding has also undermined these projects, leaving local officers with the ability to prevent terrorists, but either lacking in resources or risking becoming dependant upon intelligence divisions. The paper will then turn to a consideration of two local communities, Dearborn, Michigan, and Las Vegas, Nevada, that have been involved in these initiatives, and considers the impact of counter-terrorism policing upon the wider local law enforcement of the region.

Cultural Value Orientations: German vs. Turkish

When organizational culture is discussed in the context of national culture, it is based on certain assumptions. According to Schein (2004 qt. Browaeys and Price 2008) culture can be defined as:

"...a set of basic assumptions - shared solutions to universal problems of external adaptation (how to survive) and internal integration (how to stay together) - which have evolved over time and are handed down from one generation to the next".

External adaptation here refers to factors or culture which the management can control while internal integration means the relationship which binds them to the group. In this context management styles and approaches are often influenced by the cultural value orientation - that...

The British Constitution vs The Human Rights Act 1998

This research essay analyses the above statement and arrives at a conclusion.
Integration of the provisions of ECHR into U.K’s domestic law by way of HRA 1998 can be regarded as revolutionary as it facilitates the majority of the ECHR rights provisions directly applicable in the U.K. Before that integration, a U.K Court has to presume that when there is a clash between U.K’s domestic law and ECHR rights provision, the ECHR rights provision will always prevail. This principle has been laid down in R v Secretary of Home Dept ex parte Brind1 and R v Secretary of Home Dept ex parte Thakrar. 2
Courts have now the power to declare any statue which they find incompatible with ECHR provisions and order for fine-tunin...

Evaluation of Children with Visual Impairment between Ages 4-12

A visually impaired child may suffer from incomplete sight, reduced vision, total blindness as well as legal sightlessness (Kelley and Gale p 45). It is a condition that may become severe in a child, thereby affecting its growth and development. The impact is usually dependent on the kind of loss, age at which it occurs, as well as the general body functioning of the child. The normal interest that is usually evident amongst children on seeing attractive items in their surroundings lacks in a visually impaired child. This may interfere with the child’s learning capabilities unless he/she is assisted to learn. The development of social behavior in children usually depends on the ability to see parents or those in charge of ca...
