Global Warming is a constant problem. We have to turn off greenhouse gases now to avoid catastrophes in decades to come. If global temperatures rise by four degrees by the century’s end, sea levels will rise five to six meters due to the melting of our polar ice caps. It’s time to connect the dots from those remote Arctic regions to our cities, towns, and backyards. Let’s consider what the future might look like if global warming continues unchecked.
This is an issue that is approached very differently by the scientific community. This topic could affect all living organisms, and the environment not just in the United States, but the entire world. From 2003 to 2006 global warming climbed to the top of the list involving worldwide detrimental concerns according to many surveys. The goal of this research is to explain why this topic has gained momentum and to demonstrate the need to accelerate the movement and remove the complacency factor in the area of greenhouse gas emissions.
The purpose and objectives of this study are to identify the primary and secondary sources that contribute to global warming. Politicians and mankind need to be further educated on the short-term and long-term effects of global warming. Other objectives of this research are to display the severe problems that coal power exhibit on the environment and determine if alternative energy sources will create short-term improvements in harmful greenhouse gas emissions. This research will determine if nuclear power is cleaner and safer than coal power. The main point of this research ultimately is; whatever this phenomenon is called the inputs need to be addressed in a more rapid timeframe. The research question is important in the sense that the area of research is new and this is the most debated issue in modern times, not only for environmentalists but also for economists and business organizations. Some of the research papers have considered alternative sources of energy, like fossil fuels, but these research papers have failed to include the costs structure of generating these energy sources and these papers also have failed to include the viability of these energy sources before implementing a widespread switch toward the use of these renewable resources. But these research papers have correctly argued that coal energy has reached its end and therefore based on the public interests and for the betterment of the environment, these renewable resources are foremost needed and the use of these resources need to be increased (The energy debate: coal vs. nuclear, 2011, p. 1).
The presence of the end of non-renewable resources from the global environment has caused many countries across the globe to include the production of various renewable energy resources like fossil fuels etc. America has also adopted policies to produce a greater volume of renewable energy resources and to reduce the production of coal and other non-renewable energy resources like petroleum etc. ...Download file to see next pages Read More
