Exercise 4 This is a group presentation of three including me. There are two girls in my group and their names are Nikki and Tiana Boyd. Our group decided to present about online dating. There many reasons why we chose this topic. First, it is an interesting topic to talk about and. Second, it is something new to research about, especially to me, because online dating is not something popular in my country unlike in the U.S.A. Third, it is a unique topic and my group has a conviction that that no one else in our class will present about it. Moreover, I have some research questions I would like to explore. These questions include: do all people who use online dating find a good match for them or not?; people tend to date through online dating website while in the U.S.A the interaction between men and women is very high, why don’t they find good match for them in their daily lives?; what are the percentage of successful relationships initiated through online dating websites?; and is there any famous couples who met through online dating? To conclude, I am very excited for this project because I find this topic very interesting and relevant, especially in this internet age. I believe that I will find adequate information and get answers to my questions. Read More

1-4 Stagnant wages

Response to the Post Economists have developed or created the Consumer Price Index (CPI) and The ProducerPrice Indexes (PPI) to measure inflation over the period. Prof. Don Boudreaux uses the CPI to support his argument that the wages have not been adjusted for inflation. The response to Prof. Boudreaux argument is valid, for it indicates that various multiple indexes for measuring inflation can be manipulated in determining whether wages have been adjusted or not over time.
