What Type of A Golfer Are You? One of the things that bring people together would be sports. It has been a form of leisurely activity and an opportunity to bond with people we love to surround ourselves with. One of the most esteemed sports of today would be golf. And if you are someone who wants to get started with kind of “lifestyle”, knowing the types of golfers would give you an edge.
Categorizing golfers is simply done based on people’s motivations of doing it. There are competitive golfers who you see regularly at driving ranges wanting to sharpen their skill on the sport in as much as they seek to build a stronger camaraderie with their co-golf lovers. Aside from which, they are the ones who do not infrequently participate in golf tournaments, hoping to bag another trophy home on a warm & sunny Sunday. There are also what you call “recreational” golfers that are a bit competitive and at the same time plays the sport to meet new people, pass time or perhaps pave their own entrance to a certain kind of clique that being a golfer suggests. The last type would be the first-timer golfers who were probably tagged along by one of their friends who plays golf or perhaps those that tried the sport just so they can check another off of their bucket list.
Indeed, golf is one many splendored thing and the best thing to do before one starts to play golf would be to know why you want to play golf and what is it that you expect from the sport. This is because getting into it does not only change the environment you are in but most importantly can change your life. This is because allowing something new in your life would mean being open to changes in your activities, mindset & attitude. Just like life, with golf, you can expect anything under the sun and with the right expectations comes a disappointment-free experience. Read More

Oral presentation on golf

...Dear Paul! Here's the same text I've sent you before, but it is double-spaced now, and it should be double-spaced. I wrote it with a single space because I really wanted to help you make your presentation longer. I'm afraid it's impossible to add any details, because 2 pages means around 700-800 words, which does not give much space for discussions of the slightest details. It is impossible to show everything you know during a 5-minute speech, you can only show that you understand what you are saying. I think that the material you have now will convince your teachers of the fact that you understand the mechanisms of the game you play. Thank you. #1. The Champions' Routine. History of golf

...Golf was largely confined to Scotland until the second half of the nineteenth century and it evolved in similar fashion from an ancient and casual game to a more highly organized and competitive sport.
