I asked the faculty member about their education, career, and goals. We talked about how my coursework is applicable and relevant to my professional life. With the very valuable information, he provided me I am now able to connect my educational and career goals, thus making my courses more interesting and goal-oriented.

The faculty member provided examples of how students can benefit from their coursework and what it takes to become successful. I asked him for tips regarding how to make the most of my education and he was very helpful about that as well. He told me about time management and concentrating on one thing at a time. He explained how successful students can achieve and perform well in their courses. He advised me to get engaged in opportunities that enhance learning such as group work, peer review, studying in groups, and taking up internships. Community-based projects are also helpful as they allow students to connect their education with professional and real-world problems.
