The faith in positive endings of the childhood tales is known to provide strength of getting through worst parts of life to individuals in even later stages of living. The featured story is the source of new knowledge for the young readers and the core message of the tale was not to trust strangers as in the story Little Red Riding Hood did and she was very lucky to survive. Another message which was embedded in the story guided kids to fight the evil as Red Riding Hood did with the wolf that attacked them afterwards. Finally, the quote of Riding Hood “I will take great care” (Perrault, 1800) which she said to her mother once she was leaving her home to provide food to her grandma and the quote reminds children to respond to their duties faithfully and confidently.
The story of “Pied Piper of Hamelin” was another fine example of great writings. The story involved a problem of rats that did not allow the children to sleep at night and therefore, their routine was being disturbed until magical Piper forced all of the rats to move to the river under the influence of his music (Goethe, 1902). The point of the story was again simple and that is why, the children can pick it up nicely and in short time. The story told readers that there are good people all around the world as the Piper in the story but they can become ruthless if their expectations are not met as the expanded version of the story tells about Piper guiding children to the forest from where they never returned. The kids can expect and hope to see their worries and problems to disappear as the issue of rats was solved in the story. Unlike Red Riding Hood, the story of Piper was more depressive and hopeless in nature. The former story promoted defensiveness in children while, the latter one promoted fear and sadness in kids and it also made the readers realize about wickedness of elders that they show at times.

We got introduced to them both through the vocal medium and also through the print medium. Till the time we could not read by ourselves, our elders (including parents, grandparents, elder siblings, uncles and aunts) narrated the stories to us through their memory or by reading a book.
Feminine images in fairy tales in some manner complement the lack of these images in the Christianity. They are the product of creative fantasies of the rural and less educated layers of the society, even written down by the researchers, like the Brothers Grimm or writers like Charles Perrault.
In Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the stepmother’s wickedness reaches as the limit as she has her stepdaughter first hunted down with an order to get the girl’s heart and then, after her first attempt failed, attempting to poison the girl with an apple.
Some people have argued that children should not be exposed to fairy tales because some of them are scary; besides, they don’t teach moral lessons to children below five years. In essence, I see nothing completely wrong with letting children watch or read fairy tales like Cinderella or Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.
Struggles are the effect of the action/reaction in a situation. This principle was cited by Sir Isaac Newton that the concept was the universal law of motion. The concept was applied even in literary scheme that for every action there is reaction. It is now regarded as the basic law of nature and of characters. This concept is what made a certain literary piece realistic.
