Special drugs or injections are considered to be helpful for sportsmen as they stimulate their abilities and help improve the results. Many sportsmen use forbidden drugs and risk being disqualified as such attempts are unlawful and victories are false.  However, not all the drugs used by sportsmen are chemical substances; some non-pharmacological medical procedures can have the same effect. Secondly, some substances, which are related to stimulants, do not influence psychical opportunities. Third, not all the substances, which improve the results of a sportsman, are stimulants. They can be defined as biologically active substances, methods and ways of artificial improvement of sports achievements, which can damage the health of a sportsman.  Thus the lawful control over the use of stimulants represents a very controversial issue as there are many ways to be stimulated and many of them are not connected with chemical pharmacology. In view of this issue, the question about stimulants and their banning needs special attention and should be thoroughly researched.
