Extract of sample "The Process of Job Analysis"

Information acquired from job analysis helps with HR planning which involves recruiting the right number of employees for the right job and developing HR functions.
Answer 2
The most significant use of job analyses is to create a job description. The job description helps to clarify reporting relationships, and work functions and helps employees to understand the job. The job description has been used by companies to provide information to applicants about job involvement. Prominent information gathered from the job analysis helps to create a job description. The part of the job description is to compile the findings of job analysis and provide information about the responsibilities needed to be performed for a particular job (Cushway, 2008). Without the salient information from job analysis, a job description cannot be created.

Answer 3
Job analysis and the job description on a particular job help to identify key responsibilities areas (KRAs). KRA includes communication skills, technical and personal skills, and the physical, mental, and emotional ability of the particular applicant to handle a particular task. With the help of job analysis, an organization can hire the most suitable candidate for the job (Sostrin, 2013). This helps to identify a candidate that is eligible for the job during the hiring process. The job description provides information to the applicants about the key areas that needed to be focused on in the particular job.
Job analysis can be conducted in the medical area by including any medical license or certificates required for the job. It can also be conducted as the time spent by the employees to perform the job. The job description would help to ensure knowledge about the particular job in the medical arena (Price & Novak, 2009).

My job role is to find and source effective and skilled employees for the inventory management department. My job description is to sort out appropriate applicants from the received mail. In addition to this, I have to telephone the desired candidates who have the eligibility to sit for the interview. However, my organization has indeed justified my job description. But, according to my view, it views been better if I had gotten the training about how to propose the desired applicant’s organization needs to offer an effective proposal with a brief introduction about the description. Several times I find it difficult to convince the candidates to come for the interview round due to lack of training.
As a human resource employee, I judge an employee through his speaking power, ability to convince the interviewer, sound responses, and level of knowledge (Fowler, 2013). Consideration of a practical test can help me to understand his knowledge and management skills. Read More
