Globalization Globalization is the increasing liberalization of international trade and investment as well as the resulting growth in the unification of national economies in terms of not only goods and services, but also of ideas, information and technology that has enormous potential benefits for developing countries. Globalization can be seen most clearly in the quickening pace and scope of international commerce through markets, transportation systems and communication systems in a way that is giving legal power to the world so that it can reach to corporations, countries and individuals in a more favorable manner. It is all about the monumental structural alteration occurring in the procedures of production and distribution in the global economy. This requires the existence and development of an information and communications infrastructure that is advanced and based on a proper communication system as well as better methods of dissemination of information. Globalization has brought about a shift in the traditional balance of power between nations in the global arena in that it has broken many barriers that restricted the movement and reach of people through networking and has given more power to distinct entities to influence both markets and the nation-states thus producing a super-empowered individual (Gilbert 173). Beyond all numbers, globalization has at least three impacts to all countries that embrace it in that it leads to fast economic growth, reduction in poverty and increasing more job opportunities. It pulls the countries out from their detachment into the competitive world that leads towards new collaborations and unity thus greatly reducing the distance and isolation that exists in the world into a global village making life extremely easier and comfortable. One of the most crucial advantages of globalization is that it has led to the generation of very many employment opportunities to the unemployed as well as income generation to the people in the host country as the migration of people has become easier thus leading to even better jobs opportunities. Similarly, globalization has expanded the capabilities of people to increase their ability to lead long and healthy lives, that has enabled them to cultivate and make good use of their talents thus affording them lives of dignity and self-actualization. This is done by increasing the stock physical capital, new technologies, changing institutions, altering incentives among others (Marmolejo 103). The formation of employment and opportunities to acquire skills while on the job, the provision of primary health care and adequate nutrition, expenditure on research and on seeking out new sources of information are also a key in the attainment of this goal. Specialization patterns of investments and job creation in each country is quickly changing through globalization through the generation of new international division of labor that creates more and better jobs. There are also greater opportunities created by nation integration such as enlargement, regional development, internal market, economic and monetary union and the existence of research areas such as integrated projects and coordination of national initiatives. Globalization requires that outsourcing for human resources is less costly as lessening in overall cost means that employees in industrialized nations can manage to pay for products while the work pool will certainly incline towards well-paying occupations rather than endure redundancy from company ends. A good combination of international trade, cooperation and development aid policies of globalization makes it possible to foster new investment and job creation opportunities in the country with the export of products and services to developing countries (Rodrigues 71). There is a strong case for international policies to be devised and implemented to ensure that opportunities for human development are distributed evenly and equitably thus creating jobs to the jobless instead of giving different opportunities to same people. International trade has broadened its horizon with the help of business process outsourcing and not only relies on purchase and sale transactions alone but also the dynamics of demand for a given product and the money value of the final goods and services produced within the domestic territory. This enables producers to familiarize their products and services and tap the untapped market increasing the job opportunities in the country that leads to a more developed country. More emerging opportunities can be derived from the new method driven economic dynamics across all subdivisions in new products and services, process technologies, business concepts and management and organization that are directly and indirectly creating jobs opportunities to the citizens of the third world (Gilbert 174). The growth in information technology plays a vital role in bringing the countries closer because circulation of information is no longer a tedious task, which meaningfully affects the global economy by providing direct access to information and products. The emerging global production systems that drive to increasing flow of products has created more opportunities for growth and industrialization in the third world countries (Heininen 133). The expanding global markets for goods and services provide new outlets for their exports while the emergence of global production systems and liberalized investment rules generate new opportunities that increase global reach and market power thus economic growth. The social changes can also generate new opportune moments that originate from the wide-ranging unions of private and public enterprises present whereby all these sectors are both labor intensive and tend to be knowledge intensive thus generating job opportunities (Rodrigues 72). The social regulations go beyond economic performance and examine the causes of unemployment by inventing ways and new technologies that will be able to fight the problem by giving people chance to apply their skills in the industries and businesses available. These opportunities embrace the environmental concerns, improving family care services, extending preschool education, distribution of enduring learning services and improving business, localized development, urban management, civilized managerial skills as well as external cooperation services. Businesses do not create globalization but react to it where the key to effectiveness is in the management of diversity of markets, suppliers and workforce in order to achieve stable and corruption free environments that would encourage long-term business commitment. It is fair to believe that globalization has a vast potential for increasing economic efficiency and growth and growth that enables economic prosperity to all nations and citizens. The revelation of ICT services in rural areas generates business initiatives through selling of the equipment and accessories, providing the ICT services, providing training and educational support and repairing and maintaining the equipment thus providing direct jobs for traders, technicians, teachers, computer operators and support staff. Globalization and free trade can present positive opportunities for more people given the greater competitiveness and larger consumer population that enable consumers to access more and better goods. Companies are also able to sell products to more people within legal means and the promotion of third world economies and peoples in a global market is essential to diminishing poverty (Marmolejo 104). Economic globalization helps more people thrive as it offers employment opportunities for nations to share human labor and the creation and distribution of wealth. Globalization also offers hope to the world’s poorest by raising their standards of living through engagement in international trade that has led to a success in economic growth as well as socially growth. In conclusion, globalization is a slow process but it is working by allowing more techniques and methods to be shared around the world where inferior countries do what they can to live and globalization helps them gain advanced revenues and improve living environments. Globalization has therefore transformed the world in aspects that include the production and distribution of goods and services as well as other business processes and has led to the tremendous improvement in the living standards of most nations. It is therefore good for the world economy because it could bring more job opportunities in the third world countries. People who are anti-globalization are merely blind to the facts because a country closed to the rest of the world will not learn to better themselves and as a result they will not be as much room for improvements and new opportunities to countries that do not participate in globalization. Globalization process is not optional due to the many the existing many reasons such as acquisition of new technologies as well as job creation therefore, no one and no country can rationally or successfully defend the possibility of excluding itself from a process as potentially beneficial as globalization.
