Dedicated to those who are struggling to overcome their personal fears and those who feel that they are wasting away, the song is captures the experiences and feelings of the author and expresses her inspiration to the target audience. The words of Perry in the song are meant to motivate those who are facing difficult situations and are just about to give up in life. The song Firework is a call to action drawing the attention of the target audience to ignite themselves and free themselves from their current situations.
