From what I’ve read, stern is blessed with teachers who are experts in the field and whose works continue to be used by various other schools. It would be a tremendous support to learn from leaders who among others are of the likes of the former president of the American Finance Association, the executive director of the Entertainment, Media and Technology Program (EMT). Where the faculty as well as the students come from diverse backgrounds (representing as many as forty different countries) and have a strong grasp on the subject, where the mind is set free to fly, and where research is given priority, one can only wish and yearn to study in such an institute. The most recent example of its dedication has been presented in the shape of the Volatility Institute by Nobel Laureate Prof. Robert Engle.
When I get admission in the school, I hope to join as many clubs as my curriculum would allow space for. As of now, I have my heart set on a few activities which would be first on my priority list as a student. I hope to join the Sales and Trading Club which is open to first-year students. I believe that as a novice in the profession, one has to start from the grass root level and thus before one can venture into the world of understanding the managerial aspect of a business, we should really focus on understanding sales. Other than this, I hope to be a part of the speech masters club so that I know the various tricks of the trade which can be put to use in order to hone my communication skills. In order that I have fun along with getting a regular dose of exercise and to join a group of like-minded individuals, I will join the stern adventure club. ...Download file to see next pagesRead More
