Ways to Solicit People Support As noted in the group’s proposal for the program, the first things that is planned to do is to gauge the initial interest in the program is through the distribution of surveys to the non-profit organizations and by directing them to the people who are learners and potential participants. Likewise, soliciting support from identified people should entail identification of plan of activities in various phases of the proposed program: prior, during and even after the proposed program.
In addition, as emphasized, there is a need to solicit the support of the supervisors’ participants who could be point-persons and decision-makers that could serve as advocates for achieving the program’s goals. . ional tool and methods would utilize social media, the group also plans to include in the survey the current level of proficiency of supervisors and members in accessing and using this medium to facilitate disseminations of information about the respective organizations. Only if these data are aptly collected, could the group determine which information, strategy and instructional models could be used in further designing the program to serve their distinct needs.
It is relevant to note that aside from soliciting support from supervisors of targeted learners and participants for the program, there is also a need to solicit support from middle and higher management through including portions in the survey that would require information on the policies and plans currently being endorsed by top management. This would enable the group to identify ways of inviting them to participate in the program and to secure relevant information in the planning process on their response towards using social media tools to further enhance awareness on achieving the organizations’ future goals.
Building Organizational Support Another relevant facet of building a base of support includes determining structural systems of targeted non-profit organizations through researching and evaluating on their mission, vision, and goal statements; as well as in understanding their policies, procedures, and organizational authority. The assessment would assist in providing the group with relevant information that would determine the non-profit organization’s potential support for the planned program endeavor.
