Introduction

Counselling refers to a one-on-one meeting for personal interaction of and counselor and counsellee. A counselor offers specialized training and competence suggestions, opinions, and advice to the counsellee to help him know about his personality and enable him to develop his skills, celebrities, and resources. A counselor usually aims to make one realize himself as the core function to become independent, make personal decisions that are worthy, and become a self-reliant individual who can solve challenges individually without involving other people. Counseling involves consultancy by the mutual exchange of ideas aimed at motivating the counsellee to develop positive changes in his life cycle, attitudes, and the ability to make the right choices. Counseling conveys a sense of guidance to a person in achieving self-direction, knowledge, and self-actualization. School counseling plays a significant role by providing supportive supervision to the staff and students through classroom management techniques and the development of programs aimed at improving mental health and the safety of the learning institution.

Professional school counselors occupy a role that supports safe learning surrounding all the members within the school premises. School counselors should develop an efficient program that incorporates recommendations, prevention, and interventions to run a comprehensive school counseling program. School counseling should entail a development and management phase system that combines all guidance activities. The existence of a professional development system consists of a committee that proactively involves the promotion of a counseling program within different levels. Implementation and evaluation counseling sessions are essential in the guidance program because they allow the creation of a mission statement that collaborates with the school's vision and incorporation of individuals and organizations to help promote students on academic, social development, and career objectives. An effective counseling program should undergo an evaluation of measuring the terms and data useful to create an impact on school development, achievement, and improvement goals.
