Roles of a School Administrator Question Roles of a School Administrator A school administrator is responsible for planning and upholding school routines as well as managing the administrative and financial functions of the school. He or she must be aware of the available resources to give support to the diverse needs of the learners, staff, and family and must know the way to access extra support in order to ensure suitable education for all learners and support for teachers. This last bit is the most important role because with it, he can make special education essential for professional progress, distribution of books, materials, classroom equipment and space for smooth learning.

An administrator should prioritize through zeroing on the most integral activities for bringing all learners to high levels of achievement. This can be done by setting clear expectations, deciding on a planning system, and taking stock of the daily school operations in order to determine the most urgent and effective (Hopkins, 2000).Question 2. How to perceive faculty and staff se the role of a school administratorAdministrators should ensure they build a positive aspects of the teaching ability of the teachers.

This is important because it helps them to know where teachers should improve. The objective should be to create a relationship with all faculty members through offering advice and ideas on the way to improve wherever refinement is needed. The staff should always be encouraged to find a better way and continue in their pursuit of quality education. It is vital that an administrator keeps proper record so that each time a faculty is conducted, it should be noted on the date and a brief summary of the observation.
