Download file to see previous pages Since people who have goals in life are most likely to succeed than those who have no ambitions at all, I say it is always necessary to have goals. It is up to me now to know the first things to be done in order to reach my own goals.
I have always wanted to become an engineer, not just to achieve a reasonable standard of living someday, but also to help my country in resolving its energy issues. With these in mind, I opted to pursue an engineering course at [Name of the University], a prestigious university is known for having a world-class engineering program. To graduate and finally have an engineering education will award me, not only the personal satisfaction of obtaining my sought-after degree but the opportunity to participate, develop, as well as implement, new and highly-needed solutions for the country’s future energy challenges. Undeniably true, the economic future of the country is solely dependent on the ability of its people to develop a comprehensive energy strategy. As engineers, developing the necessary technologies that will address these challenges is indeed crucial. If given the chance to become one, I will use my education in achieving both my personal and professional goals. To have such opportunity to learn from esteemed professors and highly skilled staff members in the university, as well as work alongside a top-notch student body, will also allow me to prepare myself for a challenging career.
In my high school days, I have challenged myself in maintaining a perfect 4.0-grade point average, achieving the number one class ranking. Now, I want to challenge myself further that I can be one of the candidates for a highly competitive workplace.
