Crafting a thesis statement will probably be the easiest part of the writing process for me. As the thesis is generally a definitive statement of opinion, it will be simple enough for me to take a stand on a particular issue. I expect that the difficult part of the process, for me, will be to follow a rigid format in my writing. The organization of the material into clearly delineated body paragraphs, with each topic sentence supported by relevant details, will pose some difficulty for a person accustomed to just pouring out all the information gathered into one dense piece.

I am confident that I can overcome this obstacle by disciplining myself to chalk out the four steps - prewriting, drafting, revising, and editing, and particularly by concentrating on working out a detailed outline. This will help me to identify the sub-topics which will constitute the body paragraphs and ensure that I confine myself to that particular line of thought, instead of expanding at large on the general topic. A definite outline will draw a boundary for me, which will serve as a guideline, and help me to organize my thoughts into discrete units. This will certainly make me a more effective writer.
