The buzzword of this new millennium is E-commerce. With the promulgation of applications and benefits that are provided by e-commerce it has become extremely convenient to explore frontiers of communication that remained unexplored.

However it is important to mention here that at one hand where e-commerce has diversified the facilities that conduction of contemporary business activities require, it has also raised some serious questions and concerns related to its implementation and practice at managerial levels. Some of the research journals that have been published shed light upon this crucial matter. The articles that have been considered highlight the innumerable advantages that can be extracted through the promulgation and enforcement of e-commerce features within an organization and the number of conveniences that it creates for business.

For example the articles discuss the pervasive role e-commerce by collaborating with internet can play in redefining conventional corporate rules and conventions of business conduction such as with the help of amenities like connectivity whereby temporal and spatial barriers between communication are overcome easily. In addition to this with the exploration of internet, the usual conventions associated with the establishment of business have also fizzed off. The articles in supporting this point advocate the presence of BPO or business process outsourcing industry that has employed thousands of people from different countries all of which are connected by the virtual wires of the internet.

In addition to this many of these BPO industries have played a pivotal role in the development and ballooning of revenues that are now obtained from their respective IT industries. (Jones, 1992) Furthermore with the concomitant boom in the e-commerce industry, the scope of entrepreneurship among individuals has also increased and so have the prospects and opportunities that the industry has created. On the other hand there are also a number of managerial implications that the e-commerce has created are also worth mentioning during the course of discussion.

It is also important to keep in mind that with the pinch of the recession that the automotive industry has encountered in recent times has further coerced them to devise measures through which they can elevate their dependency upon e-commerce amenities. It is important that our organization must formulate strategies through the help of which we are able to gain customer interest and attention at every possible step. At the same time with the help of e-commerce and its subsequent innovation we will also be able to update and acquaint our clients and customers with each and every progress that the organization is heading towards; hence it is the necessity of time that provides e-commerce a call of action.

One of the prime concerns that the e-commerce industry encounters is the risk of security during the process of conducting transactions. It is basically the risk of security and the concerns related to it that has halted the progress of the e-commerce system from undergoing expansion on a wider scale. In addition to this there are also other features and components that need to be considered when contemplating the restructuring and reorganization of the e-commerce is that the features must be incorporated with the property of integrity with the help of which the parties or stakeholders authorized can only modify the assets contained in the computer system.
