Business concepts Introduction Wall mart means many factors that have been combined together, which include, excellent quality of products which have simplicity, and are inexpensive, this offers companies a chance to offer their consumers favorable prices. At the same time making them successful, so wallmartization has been extraordinarily successful due to matters regarding their simplicity and good orientation capabilities, it addresses a number of concepts which some of them include things like branding. Branding is a process that entails the creation of names and images, which are unique and these, are directed to products meant for consumers to try and establish attraction and retain those customers who are loyal. It is usually aimed at promoting items are advertising articles or merchandise. The branded items are generally imprinted with the logo of a particular company, which enhances marketing (Goldman p.56). According to Walmartization of Our Society, it states that cheap brands will someday play a significant role in marketing while the private brands will continue to root on the already established brands. It suggests that, advertisements are no longer enough for branding, it stipulates that ,branding is still relevant but there are other alternatives that can still be employed and due to this fact, there will be a weak bond with the consumers and loyalty will be altered. Another concept is based on commodity activism is a process in which the social action is highly rehended and via the ways in which it is mapped on to practices of merchandising. Profits in corporate and incentives in marketing is of different forms such as beauty campaigns and celebrity works for progressive causes. If the goals of commodity activism are not centered around the gathering of profits or the creation of a corporate brand then the goal will be to identify the consumers as well as the corporation name. Customer data can be employed as an assessment tool of the consumption patterns and the evaluation of user attributes, they can be used in research and in linking consumer patterns to individual commodities. These may provide evidence of things pertaining to the poverty level and the economic growth, and it also enables the government to inject subsidies to try and make products available and affordable to everyone (Bosshart p.34). Feminism as concept by the Walmartization of Our Society, is a group of ideologies that work towards a particular goal. It focuses on women, since they seem to be the most susceptible panel in the society, it advocates for fairness towards women in general and it tends to address issues affecting women of political, social, economic as well as cultural views. It aims at advocating for equal opportunities for women in matters of employment, leadership and education. Feminism fundamental attribute is to the welfare of the women as a whole regardless of race, gender or level of education. Women rights are championed in this concept that is, on matters of commodities, most of the products tend to be of low prices but of good quality and are easily accessible. This ideology tends to focus on the equality of all women, they undertake massive campaigns to try and create awareness, it focuses on the prevention of women rights violation like, violence in homesteads, sexual assault, maternity leave and discrimination of the highest order. This has seen, the rise of women and they are now vocal in pressing for their recognition, hence leading a favor when it comes to matters of economy, most products seem to address women, the prices of their products are relatively low making it easier for them to maneuver in the society adequately. Globalization is a process by which, there is the bringing together of ideas from different parts of the world with their cultures and beliefs. It tries to fuse them into one and tends to create an interdependence between culture, societal and economic views. Like in the case of the Beijing conference on women, it empowered them and also a bit of enlighten was done. Women were more enlightened on matters of their rights, and this gave them a voice in the society, globalisation it has allowed for donor funding as well as friendly interdependence between nations economic wise. Our society has been able to move a milestone ahead through the acquisition of knowledge and skills, as well as funding from donor agencies. The employment of globalization brings about the interaction and exchange of ideas among different people. This enhances intellectual maturity, in terms of economic views, also due to the access to modern technology and the world being globalised, there will be reduced exposes, on matters pertaining to the purchase of goods and services between different states, this will in turn promote the provision of cheap prices on commodities. Another concept is that of youth culture. Todays children have developed a different new culture, and the manufacturers tend to evolve with them. They produce their goods according to the needs of their consumers, which majorities are the youths. This has revolutionaries almost everything in the society, as new fashion, designs; foods are being produced to match the increasing demands. The young people are becoming digitalized, and so they tend to conform to the modern trends in the society, thus favoring the rise of the economy, the society is also able to benefit as there will be provision of affordable goods and services, since the consumers will be available and their needs will be adequately met. Gender ,is the act of distinguishing between a state of being male or female, this plays a vital role in the Walmartization of Our Society.The different gender groups have different needs and wants, this brings about the various levels of consumption, since this will lead to a merit of economic development and profit to both the consumers and the producers. Production of affordable products, will be hastened as there will be an available market for the consumption of those goods, also production of standard goods will be done, this is due to competition among producers of different commodities, as none of them would like to lose their loyal customers due to petty issues of substandard products. Females tend to consume more of the manufactured goods than males, and this will bring about an increment in sales and profits especially where there will be plenty of women than men. A very vital concept is that of postmodernism. It is a deviation from modernity going towards a positive side. It involves the disruption of art, culture, history and literature among many others. It tends to face out the modernity of things, and going by this, there has been a development of new technologies, which have lowered the cost of production. This has led to the rapid decrease in prices of commodities while there has been production of quality goods and services. This encourages consumer involvement in the plan of consumption, thus maintaining an adequate cycle between the manufacturers and consumers. In addition, postmodernism has played a crucial role in the enlighten of individuals on their rights, hence consumers are able to advocate for their rights, in case they are violated, they have formed organizations that are mandated into looking into their own welfares. Finally yet importantly, there is another very supportive concept of marketing according to the Walmartization of Our Society. This is a method that is applied that aims at choosing an ideal market for the products, which have been produced. It can either be done via online or even physically in the most appropriate way. The one that bears more fruits is the one on one kind of marketing. It can be carried out via various ways such as through advertising, having courage, good persuasive skills, being a fast thinker, choosing the target market and comprehending consumer behaviors. It involves communication with consumers to try and impact ample knowledge and be able to convince them into buying your products. Marketing tends to satisfy the needs and wants of consumers. It tends to readily avail the goods and services at consumers doorsteps through the process of impacting knowledge into the potential customers. Marketing tends to reduce the prices of goods and services as the cost of paying middlemen and retailers may be avoided hence making the prices affordable.
